I think the Jan 6 case is going to get nuked, however I think before that can happen the DoJ must get a glimpse into whether the NYC and Georgia cases proceed.

It seems to me that this is an important case...for the country,in general...and for DJT in particular.

Biden’s Solicitor General’s “obstruction” argument to the court seemed to serve a dual purpose:
<><>to placate the court’s concerns that the govt’s reading of Section 1512(c)(2) is overbroad
<><>and to convince the justices that the DOJ applies the obstruction statute “uniformly.”

Yet, judging by the questions and responses from the bench,
from Gorsuch a majority of the justices remained unconvinced.

Far from establishing that the Biden DOJ enforces Section 1512(c)(2) uniformly,
<><>his solicitor general’s argument painted a far different picture
<><>that the Biden admin acted solely in its own interests
<><>that it enlarged or contracted statutory language at will
<><>altering the law to serve Biden’s self-serving political purposes of the moment.

The conservative justices have a chance not only to dismiss these charges for these actions, but to issue a broad, sweeping condemnation of the general laws are activities happening now.

*sigh*

I could GAS. The real matter is the ongoing rights violations by DC police, coupled with the volume of evidence that the National Guard was withheld and the J6-ers setup.

If I’ve been on this planet for nothing else, the greatest day of my life will be watching the reactions to Trump pardoning the entirety of the J6-ers in conjunction with the results of a “Trump Committee” and the long list of crimes by the dems in weaponization of the government against him.

I heard the exchange Gorsuch had with the Solicitor General and it really came down to her saying the Maga people were more guilty because they were “corrupt”, further meaning that all other protesters were not corrupt and would not be guilty. It was almost magical how this one woke lawyer could tell how that Jan 6 crowd was uniquely “corrupt”. Gorsuch was skeptical.

It was hate crime logic, which is really thought crime, which should be eradicated from US law now and forever.

Jan 6 was a protest turning into a riot, with some help from the feds, it was not an insurrection.

Gorsuch having to listen to and deal with that shrieking, woke and mindless Prelogar, I feel bad for him. I heard that exchange. I'd rather weasels rip my flesh.
