President Obama was greeted with wild applause and shouts of “We love you!” from thousands of adoring supporters as he took the stage at the Nob Hill Masonic Center on Thursday night. But then, there were those two very vocal women in the pink slips lead away by the cops. Chalk up another appearance by Nancy Mancias of CodePink – the women’s group opposed to the United States’ involvement in wars. She stood as Obama was speaking about killing Osama bin Laden and began protesting the administration’s use of drone attacks. With her was another veteran CodePinker, Janine Boneparth, another...

On particularly prominent display here is the use of the Orwellian "reconciliation meetings," where "reconciliation" depends in practice on Christians' giving into whatever demands are imposed on them. "Alexandria: forced eviction of 62 Coptic families by the Salafis," from AsiaNews, February 9: Cairo (AsiaNews / Agencies) - The radical Muslims are trying to empty a village near Alexandria of its Coptic population - 62 families, on the basis of unfounded allegations against a Copt. The Copts of Kobry-el-Sharbat (el-Amerya) were attacked on Jan. 27 by a crowd of some three thousand Muslims led by Salafi leaders who set fire to...

The vehemently anti-war group is organizing a slew of events this weekend in opposition to the United States' Israel policy, to coincide with the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Ahead of the protests, a Code Pink activist suggested the group -- at least when it comes to Israel -- is actually on the same page as Paul, a libertarian and one of the first candidates to enter the race for the GOP presidential nomination. "The Ron Paul people are closer and closer to our talking points with each election," Code Pink activist Liz Hourican told FoxNews.com.

The Muslim Brotherhood comes up with a neat trick to break the peace treaty with Israel without formally doing so. Egypt’s next likely ruling party says it simply will hold a plebiscite and let the people do it. Rashad Bayoumi, deputy Supreme Leader of the Brotherhood, told the London-based newspaper Al-Hayat on Sunday it respects international treaties and will leave the issue of the peace treaty in the hands of the people. The pact was signed by then-Egyptian president Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, but a "cold peace" has set in over the past several years.

Yes, Ron Paul has a bead on revamping or dissolving the Federal Reserve (I did read The Creature From Jekyll Island). Lots of corruption, secret undertakings, and opacity dominate the Federal Reserve, but what would be the alternative? A presidential, or congressional commission that oversees the U.S. banking system? No. Elected representatives overseeing the quasi government agency Fed? Not likely. Governments, for eons of time, have been in charge of the coinage, and it cannot be any other way. The Buck does Stop there.Ron Paul has no alternative to the Fed that would guarantee fairness and honesty. Ron Paul...

According to the Spanish daily ABC, a Libyan rebel commander who played a key role in overthrowing the rule of Muammar Qaddafi previously participated in the May 2010 attempt to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza aboard the Turkish-owned vessel the Mavi Marmara. The operation famously culminated in a deadly clash between Israel Defense Force commandos and “activists” armed with iron rods and knives aboard the ship. The paper’s source for the story is the rebel leader himself: Mahdi al-Harati, the commander of the so-called Tripoli Brigades, which are widely credited with having played a decisive role in the rebel...

OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SPENT $200 MILLION TO ELECT RADICAL ISLAMISTS IN EGYPT 12-06-2011 7:53 am - Margaret Menge - NewsMax.com The Obama administration spent some $200 million on democracy building in the lead-up to the elections this week in Egypt. But with 65 percent of the vote going to Islamist candidates, it doesn’t appear the money

Let’s figure out what the voting in Egypt means in concrete terms. What we have so far are these results for one-third — the most liberal one-third! — of Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood — 37 percent Al-Nour (Salafist) — 25 percent Egyptian bloc (mainly the Free Egyptian party) — 14 percent Wafd (liberal, but willing to work with Brotherhood) — 8 percent Al-Wast (Moderate Muslim party) — 4 percent The remaining votes went to small parties. (Here is a remarkable set of graphs analyzing the first round of the election.) Most importantly, 112 seats in the lower house of parliament —...

The United States is encouraging Egypt’s military rulers to stick to a schedule of elections set to kick off next week, despite continuing violence – and despite the likelihood that the electoral timetable favors the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist movements. The Obama administration is in essence caught between two unpalatable options: pressing ahead for elections that the Islamists are likely to win, and thereby sounding like a force for Egypt’s democratic transition; or recommending a postponement that a growing number of liberal Egyptians prefer, but which risks coming across as anti-democratic. Egypt’s transitional military rulers announced Wednesday that parliamentary...

During the '08 Popularity Contest, many Conservatives tried to warn the country about the future Chairman Obama's collection of mutants that were his followers. There was Frank Marshall Davis, the commie who was his father figure. There was Jeremiah Wright, the Black Liberation theologian who couldn't decide who he hated more, "them Jews" or "Amerikkka". Calypso Louie Farrakhan, the afro-fascist extrodinaire who heads the New Black Panther Party, gave Obama two thumbs up, as did the freaks at the $oros-funded Moveon.Dork and the Con Artists Formerly Known As ACORN. Unfortunately, America didn't listen to the Conservative Movement. The Republican candidate,...

To what extent was Egypt’s Maspero massacre, wherein the military literally mowed down Christian Copts protesting the ongoing destruction of their churches, a product of anti-Christian sentiment? A video of Egypt’s grand mufti, Sheikh Ali Gomaa (or Gom’a), which began circulating weeks before the massacre, helps elucidate. While holding that Muslims may coexist with Christians (who, as dhimmis, have rights), Gomaa categorized Christians as kuffar — “infidels” — a word that connotes “enemies,” “evil-doers,” and every bad thing to Muslim ears. After quoting Quran 5:17, “Infidels are those who declare God is the Christ, [Jesus] son of Mary,” he expounded...

Bishop Anba Stephanos (Orthodox Coptic) of Beba and Elfashn Christians in Egypt are currently experiencing their worst time in recent centuries. This statement was made by the Coptic Orthodox Bishop Stephanos of Beba and Elfashn to the international Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN). Christians are being violently killed under the eyes of the international media. Also, for the first time in many years, churches are being systematically burned and destroyed. The police are taking no action and nobody is punished for it. In the Egyptian media, “the facts are systematically covered up in order to...

“You’ve got to give it to Ron Paul," Palin said. "Whether you agree with everything he says or not, at least he is one there in Congress trying to make our President stick to the law and understand that Congress does have a role to play in these foreign policy decisions that are made and Ron Paul, I think hit the nail on the head, when he came out and said Obama had better be careful when he interjects himself and our country in other nations’ business.”

In our continuing coverage from last Saturday’s anti-war protest and march organized by the left-wing ANSWER Coalition, Code Pink, and the Gay Liberation Network, we have more alarming video to share. Alarming, but not surprising, given our footage of the same groups’ joint demonstration last March. Organizers and protesters from Occupy Chicago joined these groups and provided support to last Saturday’s anti-war gathering. The protest carried a strong anti-Israel/anti-America message, a theme that both served as a rallying cry for the day and, more ominously, a call to action for the organization of massive

The “October 2011” movement organizer Dennis Trainor tells me that he believes capitalism is “homicidal” and that the U.S. needs a revolution. “This is not a reform movement,” he said. He is part of the illegal occupation of Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. The “October 2011” movement is not part of, but endorses the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that began several weeks ago. Although he describes himself as new to professional agitation, Trainor runs the “No Cure For That” website and served as a writer/media consultant for Dennis Kucinich’s 2008 presidential campaign. Kucinich is the Cleveland Democrat perhaps best known...

By the time they got to Woodstock, they were half a million strong. But by the time they assembled on Freedom Plaza on Tuesday morning to plan the day’s civil disobedience, they numbered only 53. Attempting to emulate the Occupy Wall Street protests, Washington activists and some out-of-town guests set themselves the lofty goal of occupying the Hart Senate Office Building. “We are there to shut the place down!” organizer David Swanson told his small band of followers. But how to do this with only a few dozen demonstrators? Well, Swanson said, they could push all the buttons on the...

Anti-war protesters plan to storm the inside and outside of the Hart Senate Office Building at 11:30 a.m. today, with the intent of causing enough havoc to shut business down. David Swanson, one of the original organizers of the October 2011/Stop the Machine protests — which is distinct from the Occupy D.C. protests in McPherson Square — explained the plan to an assembled crowd of less than 100, mainly elderly and middle-aged protesters in Freedom Square Tuesday morning. On October 6, 2011, Medea Benjamin, head of radical anti-war group Code Pink, told MRCTV at 'Occupy DC' in Freedom Plaza that unions are not behind the formation of the recent demonstrations, despite the SEIU's Stephen Lerner being one of the people behind the initial 'Day of Rage'. On August 19, The Blaze reported the following on Lerner: "Now, the US Day of Rage protests, staged by a collective of activist groups allegedly in conjunction with Lerner and Rathke, are planning the actual “occupation” of Wall Street September 17, complete with a tent city set smack-dab in the middle of...

They Don’t Want Jobs – They Want Revolution Marxists, union officials, Code Pink leaders, and far left loons held a rally against capitalism today at the Chamber of Commerce Headquarters in Washington DC. The protesters don’t like the kind of jobs created by Chamber of Commerce members in a free society. That’s Marxist Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin speaking to the protesters from the stage.videoAnd, what a coincidence… Here, Barack Obama came out today and supported the protesters and attacked banks right along with them. You’d almost think this whole movement was planned by the White House? Hmm.

US Hikers Freed from Iran Speak: Thank Penn And Chomsky, Blame Mutual US-Iran Hostility for Detention --------“The only explanation for our prolonged detention is the 32 years of mutual hostility between America and Iran,” said Bauer. “The irony is Sarah Josh and I oppose U.S. policies towards Iran which perpetuate this hostility. Some of Ron Paul's most avid (some say "rabid") supporters are not friends of America. The Marxist group "Code Pink" are frequent and vociferous supporters of the good congressman, as are "Iraq Veterans against the War," a Soros-funded group that is sometimes violently opposed to any American intervention overseas, no matter how justified it may be. Code Pink, headed up by Medea Benjamin, shows up at any anti-American gathering that happens to have media (no pun intended) coverage scheduled. That organization is frequently joined by IVAW in its pursuit of America-bashing. Now, Rep. Paul cannot be held totally responsible for...

The generals running Egypt's military services need to decide what kind of future they want for their country, and they must decide quickly. Initial reports of the mob attack on Israel's Cairo embassy suffer from the usual faults of reporting in chaotic conditions: incomplete information mixed with rumor and allegation. We do know Egyptian soldiers eventually rescued Israeli personnel trapped in the building. Israeli media claim that the Egyptian military ignored the Israeli pleas for assistance and only reacted after American diplomatic intervention. We will know more in the coming weeks. The mob assault and the target, the Israeli embassy,...

The Saudis effectively ended their strategic alliance with the US in the aftermath of the US-supported overthrow of Hosni Mubarak. Since then the Saudis have strengthened their ties to China and Russia and from what I understand have refused to sign any new oil contracts with the Americans. Now in this op-ed in the New York Times, the Saudis are hitching a ride on the Palestinian UN bid to justify their previous abandonment of America. Saudi Prince Turki Al-FaisalAs my readers are well aware, I think that the US's abandonment of Mubarak was one of the greatest strategic errors the...

Post-9/11 MysteriesThe aftershocks of 9/11 have generated a bizarre collective amnesia. Strangely, both the media and the public rarely mention some of the most important aftershocks in the decade since 9/11. Here are some representative examples of landmark events that to this day remain mostly undiscussed.1. No more falling skyscrapers? Few imagined that the United States could go an entire decade without another major terrorist attack — other than freelancing jihadists’ killing members of the American armed forces. Almost monthly, U.S. authorities have thwarted serial attempts to cause mayhem on airliners, bridges, city squares, shopping malls, and high-rises. It was...

At a radical left-wing coffee shop in Washington, D.C. last month, Code Pink founder and “Freedom Flotilla II” passenger Medea Benjamin woefully recounted the moment she realized her boat, the Audacity of Hope, wouldn’t be legally permitted to leave a port in Greece to sail to Gaza. “There was something called a ‘complaint’ that was put against our boat,” Benjamin explained to a crowd of anti-Israel activists stuffed into the back room of the restaurant.

Footage of Egyptians Demonstrating opposite Israeli Embassy in Cairo Shows Sign with Swastika Saying "The Gas Chambers Are Ready" Al-Jazeera TV (Qatar) - August 21, 2011 - 01:14 More of the putrid, fetid blossoms of the Obama supported Islamic spring. Part of the reason this blog exists is to show some of the stranger moments of our work at Flightglobal. This one definitely qualifies. Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin hijacked the AUVSI press conference at the National Press Club today to protest drone strikes. As soon as we recognized Benjamin sitting in front of us, we expected sparks to fly. Honestly, we were a little disappointed by how quickly the protest was subdued. After this one-minute outburst, Benjamin sat quietly while we asked AUVSI's panelists our normal questions about operational cost reductions, export prospects and operational doctrine. Astute observers may...

Where have the professional hacks gone? Code Pink, ANSWER, and even ELF and the likes of them? Were they just told to 'shut up and sit down' by Soros after the current Administration took over the wars? As usual, not a peep from the MSM, to include FOX on this.

If growing numbers of Muslims in Egypt have an intrinsic hatred for all things Christian—most recently demonstrated by the torching of eight Christian homes on the rumor that a church was being built—let us not forget that this hate has instrumental, that is, economic benefits: the extortion of money from the non-believer—tribute from the conquered infidels to their Islamic overlords—otherwise known as jizya. Consider: on June 24, hundreds of Muslims surrounded a Coptic church in Egypt, vowing to kill its priest—who was locked inside serving morning mass to several parishioners. The Muslims cried “We will kill the priest, we will...

IDF sources claimed Monday night that new intelligence information obtained by Israel in recent days shows that participants of the flotilla planning to break Israel’s sea blockade over the Gaza Strip later this week plan to kill IDF soldiers who board their ships. According to the information obtained by the IDF, some of the participants have prepared a number of sacks with sulfur, which they plan to pour on the soldiers as they board the vessels. “This is a chemical weapon and if poured on a soldier it can paralyze him,” an IDF source told The Jerusalem Post Monday night....

Not surprising, we have one of the most far-Left members of Congress promoting incivility in the House of Representatives against our ally Israel. Code Pinko Activist Rae Abileah interrupted Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu during his speech to Congress last month, in violation of House rules for guests in the gallery. She was arrested and later claimed she was injured. Rep. After chanting "Not one dollar, not one dime" against Israel, Woolsey said Rae...

When historians sit down decades from now to address the events of the early 21st century, they will have no trouble explaining why Americans elected Barack Obama president. They elected him out of a firm conviction that the United States was not involved in enough wars.Problem solved. Today, American forces are fighting in four different countries. No. 4 is Yemen, where we learn the administration is carrying out an intense covert campaign against anti-government militants, using fighter aircraft and drone missiles. It is being handled by the Pentagon in conjunction with the CIA, and according to The New York Times,...

Last week, Medea Benjamin, head of the radical anti-war group Code Pink, was arrested along with Adam Kokesh for dancing at the Jefferson Memorial. On June 4, 2011, she returned to hold a 'free speech dancing demonstration', so we went to check it out. During the protest, the group claimed they were trying to 'praise' Thomas Jefferson. However, it was clear given the group’s history- and the events that happened just days before- they wanted to draw attention to their organization. While the scene played perfectly into the script they were going for- minus arrests- it did leave some tourists...

Recently, I posted videos of the arrests at the Jefferson Memorial by those who were dancing in violation of a court ruling prohibiting such actions at the monument. While I still stand by my original objection, which was against a heavy handed police overreaction and a violation of Constitutional rights, I have had time to ponder what was really behind this whole ‘protest.’ I believe that the Adam Kokesh, Medea Benjamin protests are meant to draw Tea Party activists, Constitutional Conservatives, Libertarians and Independents into the fray to instigate a revolution (top down, bottom up, inside out…). The protests were...

Rand Paul, son of Texas Rep. Ron Paul and a favorite of the Tea Party movement, has built a big lead over Secretary of State Trey Grayson in the race for the GOP Senate nomination in Kentucky, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted April 9-11. The race has been depicted as a test of the movement's influence, pitting a candidate trying to capitalize on the voter anger it reflects against an establishment Republican who has won re-election to his position three times. Grayson has fought back with TV ads honing in on Paul's "strange ideas," such as saying "Paul even...

This video has been around for a few days, but I ignored it. It is another lesson why assumptions should never be made. When I first heard that protesters were arrested at the Jefferson Memorial for dancing, I assumed it involved loud music and wild gyrations. I assumed it was something that would be distracting to those who come to visit the Memorial. Well, the only distractions that came from this event were the arrests. First, a little history. In 2008, a group gathered to dance at the Jefferson Memorial in silence. The only music they had was heard through...

Park Police Investigate Arrests for Dancing at Jefferson Memorial By RUSSELL GOLDMAN May 30, 2011— The U.S. Park Police are investigating whether excessive force was used in the arrest of five protesters Saturday, who silently danced in the interior of the Jefferson Memorial to protest a recent ruling against dancing at federal monuments. Videos posted to YouTube over the weekend show park police officers in light blue polo shirts handcuffing dancers. It looked as if one protester, who was wearing a "Disobey" T-shirt, had been body-slammed by an officer, and choked. In a YouTube video of Saturday's incident, when a...

Adam Kokesh, an American who stars on KGB-TV, otherwise known as RT or Russia Today television, staged a publicity stunt at the Jefferson Memorial on May 28 and is now complaining about his arrest for “dancing.” His video is getting attention from the media, while his followers are insisting that he was the victim of harsh police tactics. But an examination of the video of his arrest shows that the event was a planned provocation by professional agitators arranged in coordination with Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, who was also arrested. Kokesh anchors the “Adam Vs. The Man” TV show...

A senior Egyptian general admits that "virginity checks" were performed on women arrested at a demonstration this spring, the first such admission after previous denials by military authorities. The allegations arose in an Amnesty International report, published weeks after the March 9 protest. It claimed female demonstrators were beaten, given electric shocks, strip-searched, threatened with prostitution charges and forced to submit to virginity checks. At that time, Maj. Amr Imam said 17 women had been arrested but denied allegations of torture or "virginity tests."

Two Facebook pages which appeared recently under the...
