Dozens of students at Duke University walked out on legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s commencement speech on Sunday, with some chanting "free Palestine," according to videos of the ceremony posted on social media.
The student protesters staged the walkout just as Seinfeld, who is Jewish and a vocal supporter of Israel, was introduced, according to the videos.
Some students carried Palestinian flags as they left the stadium. Other graduates and guests chanted "Jerry! Jerry!" as the comedian took the stage to receive an honorary degree.
Seinfeld delivered his speech without major interruptions, Reuters reported.
The "Seinfeld" star opened his speech with some jokes before telling graduates his "three real keys to life," which are work hard, pay attention and fall in love, according to WRAL-TV.
"Whatever you're doing, I don't care if it's your job, your hobby, a relationship, getting a reservation at M Sushi," the comedian said. "Make an effort. Just pure, stupid, no-real-idea-what-I'm-doing-here effort. Effort always yields a positive value, even if the outcome of the effort is absolute failure of the desired result. This is a rule of life. Just swing the bat and pray is not a bad approach to a lot of things."

I’m actually fine with this. If you want to walk out, walk out. If you want to walk out chanting, go ahead do that too. Then just GTFO and the rest of us can continue with the event.
I can’t remember if I ever have walked out of anything. I do remember seeing Mel Brooks History of the World Part 1 and HATING it. (Love Mel, but that one was not good!) I was there with 2 other people and none of us were enjoying it. But when we finally did decide to leave, it was over! So we saw the whole thing.
Another picture I hated was “oh Lucky Man” I think it has Malcolm McDowell as the lead. Would have walked out of that for sure, but I was on a date! Think that is really a guy’s movie. There is a band in it that plays some songs as interludes. I’m sorry I can’t remember their name, they were the best thing in the movie.
Disgusting behavior and very sad. That they would support murderers and terrorists here in our country. I hope they have a very unsuccessful future and think on what they did to ensure that.
So they can gradiate and go live in the craphole that is Durham,NC with the other “rape victims” of the LaCross team. The place is unbearable, run as a servant’s quarters for the elitist university.
Don’t forget it was jew professor from Duke who came over to Greensboro long back to instigate a shoot out with the real Klan— over unionizing the Cone Mills (Cone being created from the actual name.. Cohen- makers of denim jean fabrics for decades). Cohens brought in the Klan— point of fact to mess up the jew-ish union organizers causing major problems in the mills. The shoot out is known history. Cone mills stayed non-union many years after. Right out of “Norma Jean” same kind of crap. And now— the elite supports.. the “ownership” class of Palestinians the most hated minority in all of the Middle East.. who want nothing to do with them.
Parents are probably the age who watched when the show was popular.
I never saw even one episode myself (during my boycotting of TV decades, now over).
Remember, the Jewish people who are secular Jews do not have any particular affection for Israel and do not go to worship services. And their college student offspring care even less now.
History of the World Pt 1 was hit and miss. Without the stabilizing force of Gene Wilder Mel goes off the deep end and runs your nose in the jokes after you’ve already laughed.
Do these freakin’ asshats have ANY concept of what a “Free Palestine” would be? It would be SHARIA LAW, probably the LEAST “free” system in the world where gays are executed, where people of other religions are executed, where women are treated as second class citizens and men can have endless girlfriends - OK maybe that part ain’t so bad - but it definitely ain’t a “free” society

That was the only movie I have ever requested my money back on. My request was not honored. My companions thought the movie was funny. I thought it was Offensive dreck.
In a report this morning, a reporter asked a protester what she was protesting. She said “The things the school is doing in support of Israel.” When pressed she said she wasn’t sure and asked another protester. The other girl admitted she didn’t know and said she wished she was “better educated.”
You can’t make this up.
