Oh, Ringo, what is with the ruffled shirt? Is there anybody that looks good on? No.

Yuk, Clinton has that pose like he thinks he is still president or something. I got so tired of him in that pose, acting so presidential...

Some days I think I've wandered into DU *shudder, shudder*.

Well, honey, on those particularly nasty days, just be sure to come over the the Guild or the Dose. It always works wonders for me, and it will do the same for you!! We ladies (and some gents) just love our President and his lovely and gracious wife, and we don't tolerate bashing of them in any form or fashion! Disruptors are hosed in flames!!

Letter to Thon follows:

Are you going to give The Ladies' Investigative Guild a button or not? And I do mean at or near the top. It is your company, it is your call. But what's going on with it?

This thread has more suppot for our troops and our way of life than any other that I can find on FR.

Why can't you support The Guild?

This pisses me off greatly

You know, I'm really seething now. I see that the lovely Naked lady pics thread is still on the main screen. Too bad that I have to be pinged for the Daily Prayer thread or the Guild. What is their problem? I really don't understand what the beef is with the Guild.......

Speaking of the globetrotter, I'm looking for info about his alleged presence at the McCartney wedding. Here's this, so far, published prior to the nupts:

"Ten people at the wedding you have heard of and the rest will be family and friends," McCartney said, but he did not confirm press reports that former President Bill Clinton, ex-Beatle Ringo Starr and Eric Clapton were on the guestlist.... No one has seen Clinton or U2's lead singer Bono, who are reportedly on their way, [Assuming they and Chelsea didn't stop off for a few dozen vodka martinis along the way] but townfolk said Cliff Richard and Elton John were spotted asking for directions early in the day. NY Daily News

And this from CNN:

CNN's Richard Quest said the marriage was delayed by about 30 minutes on Tuesday after a helicopter was heard hovering low over the church as Mills was supposed to have approached. "Organisers -- and we can only assume that is McCartney and Mills -- became very annoyed," he said. "It is said to have left a bad taste in the mouth."

Stars from the music and fashion world began flying into Belfast from Heathrow, London, and Liverpool just hours before the ceremony. ....Other guests thought to have attended are guitarist Eric Clapton, former U.S. President Bill Clinton and John Eastman, brother of Sir Paul's late wife, Linda.

Wonder if the helicopter had something to do with x42's security?

You did a good thing, Jim. The Guild makes FR a kinder and gentler place. I bet we will get more members because people can now find us. Lurkers will learn about the compassionate conservative aspects of FR ( and the most hilarious).
