Evening all. Sorry I'm late. And I won't be on long. Wife is going to transfer her files to disk so I can set up the new system tomorrow.

Lessee...what did we do today?

Went to the gym, then came back and picked up the Mrs. and Luke. We took her to the doctor to get an antibiotic for her sinus infection. Luke and I went to get the disk we need to set up the cable on the other computer, came back, went to a couple of worthless yard sales.

Don't want other peoples junk. We're looking for sturdy dining chairs that I can paint. The ones we use now from Ikea are crap, but the table is okay. I'm gonna put some sort of funky finish on them. We've decided that we know we're not the Ethan Allen type, so why not be who we are. Lots of color and "interesting" things.

Thought it was gonna rain all day, but it had stopped by the time we stopped by Lowes. I bought more mulch and some ornamental grass. Set out the following plants today:

4 mums
9 sets of ornamental grass
1 rosemary bush
1 rhododendron
wildflowers.

I'm pooped!

But I gotta go. See y'all tomorrow unless I really mess up the new system and have to wait to see you Monday.

We had some scattered rain yesterday so I didn't get everything done. I did get some of the garden tilled with my little 20-lb Mantis. Brother wants to get in on this gardening deal and is going to rent a real tiller to do the rest. I thought I'd do the bit around the herbs and he verbena so he wouldn't till them under.

I'm sorry, I'm catching up from the weekend still and I have to funkle again. About the Corin family's decorating tastes.

:-) You fit right in at my house!!! I love every bit of that plan! I could do your gardening if ya'll could come do funky finishes and color for me. I hate painting and refinishing and stuff like that.
