BIG FReeper salute to all my heroes here!
What we - those who are ready to fight for freedom - need is a common sign - a gesture - a universal common ground that will be instantly recognizeable anywhere, anytime, and in any storm that may arise - be it peaceful or otherwise.
We need a gesture that will instantly strike waves of national unity, strength, and comfort in the hearts and minds of those who know that "Freedom Is Not Free" and in the same distinct gesture strike utter horror and fear in anyone who wants to take it away from us.
W
The "Anti - - Anti-war" Wave. What Should It Be? What Should It Look Like?
"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors; they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men." Samuel Adams
For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security. Thomas Jefferson

Yes, it does explain a lot about them.
They're their own first cousins!

Thanks! I'm honored :)
Wouldn't know what I'd do without FR although I might find out in 30 - 90 days when I'm sitting outside of Baghdad...

We'll be rooting for you.
Splash a few of the SOB's for us, or write something on the ordinance for us. (A shark's grin in grease pencil?)
There'll also be those of us who no longer wear the uniform being rather jealous of you. So you'll have to drop into the Freeper Foxhole when you get home and shoot the bull with the soldier stories. We'll be waiting.

That's a great idea!
(And it's certainly better than the RAT's trademarked gesture of just the middle finger.)
One suggestion though: when we show the "W", we should smile ... Fellow Conservatives will appreciate such and RATS will fume.

Thanks, but I hope this doesn't happen too often. Wouldn't want to waste all of my 15 minutes accepting tagline awards.

It has just been suggested to me that being called "Frauleine" is a turn on for the french... *Tap. Tap. Tap.*
I can't believe people actually liked my nutty and psychotic tagline rant...
