The "Anti - - Anti-war" Wave. What Should It Be? What Should It Look Like?

Posted on 01/28/2003 9:09:02 PM PST by Happy2BMe

The anti-war protestors. You know who I'm talking about - the flag-burners out holding signs depicting President George W. Bush as "Hitler" and "War-Monger" and holding strange signs, shouting vulgar obscenities, yelling "Down with Bush!"

These are the ones Schroeder, Chirac, Streisand, Clinton, Saddam, Arafat, Al-Qaeda, Kim Il Jong, and all the rest of the enemies of the freedoms you and I hold dear point to and hold up for their "inspiration."

These poor misguided souls are being led by the likes of Hollywood's finest - (their )president Martin Sheen, Sirene Susan Sarandon, and Saddam's Step-Son Sean Penn.

They use their own "language" if you will to convey what they consider to be meaninful messages in their march against "The tyranny of Bush."

In response to such an onslaught of ignorance, brazen disloyalty to the (real) President, and disgust and disdain for our young men and women laying their lives on the line to secure their First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and peacable assembly, what response should there be?

While the "anti-war" demonstrators rage on in their gestures, shouts, and madness, what gesture could there be so readily identifiable to be called "The Anti-Anti War Wave?"

Here is the little story behind such a thought - such a cause:

(This makes me know I raised my boys right.)

My son's wife just called me (in an excited voice) after listening to the CINC and the SOTU.

She told me they were out driving today and came upon a mob of anti-war demonstrators.

My son starts laying on the horn, rolls down the window, and rolls through the mob at about 5 mph yelling "Why don't you motherf$c$er$ all go the he$$ over to Iraq!!"

One of the protestors shouts back, "But we love America!"

To which my son said, "You motherf$c$er$ love it so much you want to die in the subway from Saddam's serin gas!! - Get the hell out of America - YOU motherf$c$er$!!!"

You gotta understand, my daughter-in-law is as sweet, polite, and courteous as God ever made a young lady.

But guess what!? She was PROUD of her husband standing up for President George W. Bush!

And so am I, so am I.

My dauther-in-law said my son continued to hold up traffic while driving through the mob of over 300 idiots, window down and waving the "anti - antiwar protestor" wave out the window the whole time.

Now - "That's Muh Boy!!"

BTW, I haven't trembled from listening to a president in many, many years.

Tonight I trembled when President George W. Bush made us all Proud To Be An American - Once Again!

Here's a start! Use their own cries for war...

The Democrats' Case Against Saddam Hussein (Dems nailed, yet again)

Headline Rundown and links on Iraq - Things the democrats have conviently forgot...

Saddam Abused His Last Chance, Clinton -clear and present danger to safety of people everywhere 1998

Gore repeats that Saddam MUST GO - June 2000

What the democrats want you to forget

Iraq is a Regional Threat, capable of as much as 200 tons of VX nerve agent (1999 Clinton report)

Czech military reports say iraq has smallpox virus in weapons stockpile (and camelpox)

2/7/1998 : Arab media: Clinton will strike due to sex scandal (&links to tons of arab news on clinton)

Iraqi chemical weapons buildup reported (Sept 2001 Report)

Clinton, Gore rally domestic support for strike at Iraq, "unholy axis" (1998 Must read)

statement President Clinton from 1998 on the air strikes

"Iraq is a Regional Threat, capable of as much as 200 tons of VX nerve agent (1999 Clinton report)"

Wow! Thanks, those are tremendous "waves."

But we need something tangible, physical, something visible, something - you know - that you can pick out in a crowd on a rainy day and say "Hey - He's Give Us The Wave!!!"

Bill Clinton's Lies and Promises - Did He Cause 9/11/01?

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, D.C. that are now dead would be alive today.

Well, I guess in a way, you could say that Clinton was true to his word, for they ARE now being hunted down and punished. After all, in none of your quotes did Clinton ever say that HE was the one that was going to do it.

Details, details. . .

What we need is common ground - universal common ground that will be instantly recognizeable in any weather, any setting, and in any political setting - be it peaceful or otherwise.

We need a wave that will instantly strike waves of peaceful thoughts and memories in the hearts and minds of those who love freedom and all of it's benefits and know that "Freedom Is Not Free" and at the same time strike utter horror and fear in anyone who wants to take it away from us.

Do I hear a second on "W"

the W hand sign is simple and powerful. When I drove up to the Freeper rally on Wilshire Blvd in L.A. during the Gore Takeover Attempt, I flashed the W sign out of my painted up car, instant recognition and smiles. Many drivers who passed the street demonstration flashed us the sign, conveying instant solidarity from motorists in a loud situation where a simple hand sign is perfect.

Pregnant with meaning, non-confrontive, simple... Spread the word. W.

The boots and beret of Marc Anderson rest near his casket.

At a service, friends and family recall the Army Ranger killed in Afghanistan. He was awarded three medals.

STAND UP FOR FREEDOM! STAND UP FOR AMERICA!

"The boots and beret of Marc Anderson rest near his casket."

People don't realize our servicemen like Marc Anderson are heroes in our own lifetime.

Marc sacrificed his own life for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness we all share as proud Americans.

Degenerate cowardly slugs out holding up signs between cocaine snorts, weed hits, and penicillin shots have no conception of the price of freedom - that permits them to burn the Flag that Marc loved so much - and all without fear of harm or reprisal.

(I gave my youngest son a pair of jump boots just like those of Marc's when he came back from basic training - my Honor Guard boots. He kept them up very smartly - glass mirrors. heheh... It seems there were some in his tech school not liking the zero-gig inspections he got while wearing them and decided to stomp one of the toes. The kid found himself waking up @ the E.R. - First Shirt told my son - don't be so hard on my troops - now get out of my office.)

My son kinda reminds me of President Bush - make that $oB Saddamn wish to hell he'd never heard the name "Dubya!!"

Yes! Great idea. Probably be better with the middle, ring and pinky fingers. Easier to spread out, no confusion with boy scouts and includes "OK".

Heheh.. it seem's our gesture of "OK" doesn't mean the same thing other places in the world:

"Is Everything OK?: Everyone around the world knows the "OK" hand gesture, don’t they? Be careful not to assume too much!In Spain, parts of South America and Eastern Europe. the OK sign is considered rude. if you gou shopping in Japan, it means you`d like your change in coins instead of bills. In France, making the OK sign means you think something is worthless. Even a gesture as common as the OK sign may not be universally understood. Check before you use it and embarrass yourself."

But since the French don't like it - that must mean it's O.K. for us to use!

LOL!

Another possibility is that holding up the universally recognized "OK" in the U.S. might signal to the anti-war protestors that what they are doing is "OK"

Thoughts?
