I don't think the final few paragraphs make an especially coherent point, but I thought the article had some interesting info nonetheless.

""We've practiced medicine as though only a woman's breasts, uterus and ovaries made her unique--and as though her heart, brain and every other part of her body were identical to those of a man," says Marianne J. Legato, M.D., a cardiologist at Columbia University who spearheads the new push on gender differences."

This sentence really stood out to me. Not just is political correctness dangerous to our school system, it's also dangerous to our health and to science. And by health, I mean everyone's health - male or female.

Why did this cardiologist used to practice medicine based on the premiss that "only a woman's breasts, uterus and ovaries made her unique"? Why, assumably, do many doctors and researchers *still* practice on this false premiss? Because doing otherwise is politically incorrect because it might offend feminists to show that what they are saying is wrong. because many go through an education system where these values are drilled into their brains as undeniable truth. Heaven help those who think for themselves and seek the truth.

Reading this article, I note there's strong evidence to show that there are fundemental differences between the way male and female bodies work. To a Christian, this is no suprise, our Creator intended males and females to be good at different things. However, to leftist who thinks that all people are absolutely equal, this ammounts to herracy.

These leftists would rather have people die than support the findings of impartial scientists who are proving their politically correct world view wrong. Feminists, especially, would rather see women die or suffer than have their theories - which supposedly "help women" - be proven wrong.

It's time to cut political correctness out of medicine and out of our schools. Lives are at stake. More power to those who seek the truth in the face of political correctness and political pressure.

Men used to feel that they had the right. They don't feel that anymore
Unfortunately, the evidence I have been seeing (not personally, thankfully) suggests that the double standard is evaporating not because men don't feel they have the right to cheat, but because women feel they can.

Name three great female composers.

Name three great female scientists.

Name three great female engineers.

Name three great female inventors.

Name three great female mathematicians.

I don't mean "great" as "pretty good"; I mean generally accepted as among, say, the top 100 in the field.

Don't get me wrong; I greatly admire the XX species. And feminists will argue that 'oppression' has prevented greatness in these traditionally-male pursuits.

However. Women now occupy more than 50% of college populations; when may we expect the flood of Nobel Prizes?

Notice that it is relatively easy to come up with great female performers--singers, actresses, ballerinas. Writers and artists, too. But is it not interesting that--at least until recently, females mostly excelled at interpreting the creations of others rather than creation itself?

Maybe the ability to create and nurture life is all the 'creativity' they need.
