In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

1. Characterized by offensive boldness; insolent or impertinent.
2. Obsolete: Immodest.
3. Bold, with contempt or disregard; unblushingly forward; impertinent; wanting modesty; shameless; saucy.
4. Marked by casual disrespect.

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
Class is now in session. The rules are simple; you get a grade if you use the WFTD in a sentence, haiku, limerick, or quatrain. You get a "+" if you make a link, or make the teacher laugh, or you offer the appropriate bribes. I hold the grade book, and the whip and chair.
BARBECUES should carry health warnings for releasing the same amount of toxic smoke as 220,000 cigarettes, it was claimed yesterday.
I knew this was coming, but actually seeing it in a headline was enough to make me hit something, anything, the bottle, for example . I told you they were going to come after other things!

I made dentist sick by accident. I gave him some of my crow gumbo and then he kind of saw the Jamet Rhino pic I posted to Camle and he gave up the gumbo. I apologized but I think it was too late.
