Anna Kournikova Sends Amazon CEO into 'Sexpot Shock' at NASDAQ Stock Exchange Opening

Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos appeared to enter 'sexpot shock' while joining tennis star Anna Kournikova for the opening of the NASDAQ exchange.
Mouth wide open and almost cross eyed, Bezos looked like a teenage boy making his first journey into the raunchy section of the movie store.
Bezos and Anna were teaming up to promote the 'Anna Kournikova Mutiway Sports Bra.'
The product, designed by Shock Absorber, will be sold to United States customers via Amazon.com only.
Who cold blame Bezos for his excitement? Anna may struggle on the tennis court but her form in front of the camera is beyond compare.
She may not need too many of the sports bras however. Rumour has it that Anna is going to hang up her racket due to lingering injuries. She has yet to win a tournament on the pro tour.

I think Anna Kournikova is funny. She seems to take the whole tennis thing as a lark and a great backdrop for her modeling career. She has more photos taken of her than most royalty.
I guess there's a case to be made that she shouldn't be representing women's tennis, but women's tennis seems to but just fine with her doing what she does.
Some of her pictures make her look quite attractive.

I agree, having Anna as an 'entertainment correspondant' during the US Open Tennis tourney was a masterstroke by USA Networks.
Now instead of Annas singles match loss and maybe some doubles matches, we get her all the time for two weeks!

It's not "sexpot shock" - it's a documented affliction with the name "attractive woman syndrome", or AWS.
Those men afflicted with it typically babble or speak incoherently, as well as act like a complete klutz when they are in the presence of an attractive woman.
AWS attacks tend to happen in environments where
- men are the majority and women are scarce,
- men are expected to behave in a more formal way (for example, a meeting at work as opposed to a party),
- the encounter takes place suddenly, without warning.
(The term AWS was coined by Scott Adams - Dilbert, from his comic strip has experienced it).

Anna can't "Play" period... but she plays well enough to milk her "pro" status for modeling contracts. Anna may not be in the same category as a Williams sister or a Hingis, but she was one of the better players on the tour for a while. Nothing to be ashamed about. Shoot, I would be proud to accomplished what she did in tennis. She has made it to the quarterfinals of a grand slam, and I think she has won a couple grand slam doubles titles.
