White Colored Words on A White Background in email advertisements - What gives?
my email
Posted on 09/04/2003 8:06:27 PM PDT by chadsworth
I have been looking at some very strange email advertisements. I have discovered that by a click and hold drag with the cursor moving across the blank areas ( usually white) there are words that display as a highlight. One will not be able to view these words in the normally displayed email until the click and hold cursor is moved across these areas. Not all email advertisements have them but some do.
Does anyone know why these words are in these advertisements. These words do not always make sense as in forming a sentence and some are not even recognizable as words, just letters that appear randomly put together.
Can anyone explain this?

I have met very few people who actually read their spam, fewer still who examine it and none at all who actually take the time to try to highlight blank spots in it. Have you ever thought of taking up crochet?

VERY subliminal advertising? It is so subliminal it wouldn't do any good- you can't make any sense out of the words and you can't see them. So now what?
