On March 6, 1981, Marianne Bachmeier smuggled a Beretta 70 handgun into the Lubeck District court, in Germany. Klaus Grabowski was to be sentenced for kidnapping, raping, and killing Bachmeier's seven-year-old daughter. She calmly pulled out the Beretta and shot Grabowski in the back seven times, once for each year of life of her deceased daughter. Grabowski died on the spot. She is Mother of the Century, to me. Police say a body discovered Wednesday has been confirmed to be that of 32-year-old Victoria Jean Beach of Walterboro, who had been reported missing that same day. DETROIT (FOX 2) - A semi-truck hauling gravel crashed into an I-94 overpass and caused a massive backup Wednesday afternoon, westbound after Van Dyke in Detroit. The truck slammed into the overpass, which is at 6450 Frontenac Ave. On a witness video taken from dashcam, it appeared the back hauler of the truck was tilted up, causing the collision. April 24 (UPI) -- A wildlife rescuer in South Carolina came to the rescue of an alligator found to have been trapped in a drainage pipe for nearly six months. Matt Kraycar of K&K Wildlife Services said he was summoned by Port Royal Plantation security in Hilton Head when the gator was spotted trapped underneath a grate.
