Who are the prominent or "famous" Republicans?

Posted on 07/29/2004 9:50:18 PM PDT by kk_Thomas05

Who are some famous or well-known Republicans? Is anyone else getting really discouraged by all of the interviews with Hollywood stars that endorse Kerry or bash Bush? I was wondering if y'all knew any people who support the President. I know of a few people like Charlton Heston, Bruce Willis, I think I heard that Lara Flynn Boyle was a supporter... anyone else? It isn't fair that all of the main-stream people have to be completely one-sided! Give me some encouragement!

Will the RNC get as much press and hooplah as the DNC is getting?

The Democrats have lots of big name stars, all part of an elite that pretends to a superior knowledge, all that star power demonstrates just how in touch they really are with the normal Americans.

Dennis Hopper
Matthew McConaughey
Vince Vaughn (this one I'm not sure about)
David Spade
Wayne Newton
Pat Green
Patricia Heaton (although she supports the Assault Weapons Ban)
Tom Selleck (more moderate, but in a lot of the old "Magnums" he reads National Review)
Kurt Russell
Drew Carey
Troy Aikman
Rachel Hunter
Jean Claude Van Damme (sp?) (very conservative)

Dennis Hopper??? Really? I'm happily suprised. I wonder how Sean Penn feels about that, since his daughters middle name is Hopper in honor of one of his mentors! Ha.
As for the others, Drew Carey is a total Libertarian. He's the best.

Also Gary Sinise I've heard is conservative, as is Gary Oldman.

John Carpenter, the director of such classics as "Halloween" and "Escape From New York" is also a Libertarian/Republican as I hear it.

Yep. I might not agree with EVERYTHING he's doing, but, man, I LOVE the way he shakes up the dems. They know they can't win against him. He'll simply go public and tell all. The CA public stands right behind him. It's a riot.

What makes you think that Denzel Washington is conservative? He makes some real liberal movies, but I'd love to hear the guys conservative.

Nah, if someone else wants to be a moron, it's not my problem. That and there's always the hope that their next line of dialogue will be "Would you like fries with that?"
