Stupid Democrat Quotes

Posted on 10/19/2006 12:04:21 PM PDT by Duffy

Hey folks, What is the best site to get a list of revealing quotes from the Dems? I'm putting together an email to send to some friends that are not going to vote on Nov. 7th. In that Email, I'm pointing out what that could mean by pointing out where the Democrat leaders stand. I'd like to add a bunch of idiotic and revealing quotes from the dems. I'm searching and picking some here and there, but I'd love to know if there is a web site that has a bunch of them already compiled. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

TOPICS: Issues; Parties; U.S. Congress; U.S. Senate
KEYWORDS: democrats; elections; gop; liberals; votegop

"A zebra doesn't change its spots."
-- algore, 1992

"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet."
-- algore, in CNN interview 3/09/1999

"Speaking from my own religious tradition in this Christmas season, 2,000 years ago a homeless woman gave birth to a homeless child in a manger because the inn was full."
-- algore, 12/22/1997 during a press conference on "homelessness"
(Mary and Joseph weren't homeless, al; they were traveling to Bethlehem due to a mandate from the government for the purposes of increasing tax roles. Caesar would have made a great democrat.)

"I tell you that Michael Jackson is unbelievable, isn't he. He's just unbelievable."
-- algore, as reported in The Chicago Tribune June 17, 1998 expressing his awe at the Chicago Bulls basketball superstar

"We can build a collective civic space large enough for all our separate identities, that we can be 'e pluribus unum' -- out of one, many. "
-- algore, in a January 1994 Milwaukee speech to the Institute of World Affairs. ('e pluribus unum' means out of many, one)

"In 50 years there will be no North Pole in the summertime."
-- algore on MTV's 'Choose or Lose' Town Hall Forum 9/26/2000
(apparently global warming will cause the earth to shift on its axis)

Thanks. But I'm really looking for current Senators and Congressmen. Especially those that will most likely be in the leadership positions. Allowing the Dems to take control will not put Al Gore in power.

Look up anything Charles Rangel has ever said. Plenty of ammo there.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1723459/posts Obama Not Ready for Prime Time: Iran, Syria Should 'Take Ownership for Stability' of Iraq

But all the fluff aside, I was stunned by something Obama said. Describing his proposal for a phased withdrawal from Iraq, Obama added that it would:

"send a message to the Iraqis as well as to the regional powers including Iran and Syria that they have to take some ownership for creating some stability there."
