Two of the GOPs best chances for pickups in the House of Representatives this year are in Georgia, where two former Congressmen are embattled in races which are poised to go down to the wire.

Here is something rare: good new for Republicans in House race.
Slow, steady GOP momentum. I think it got a shot in the arm today by Gigolo John Kerry! ;-)
A post on NR Online says that Mac Collins people think he's close to a sure thing.
Hope so. His Senate campaign was uninspiring to say the least, but he was a good congressman and having him back as a Rep would be great.
There's a website called Peach Pundit which is keeping close tabs on these two races, and is promising new information as it comes.

Yah, I'd seen it before but forgotten about it.
Thanks for the reminder.
Good news ping.
I hope the Georgia voters send these two men back to DC. They were good Congressmen, and are sorely needed in DC.
Kerry for the Democratic nomination 2008!!!!!
I'll drink to that! ;-)
