If Dave Trauner couldn’t beat her in the best rodent year since 1974 with Dave Freudenthal at the top of the ticket, it’s not likely he’ll beat her in a rematch... BUT... she is a damaged candidate who ran far, far behind the GOP ticket and only won by HALF a percentage point (1,012 votes — the Libertarian alone received nearly 7,500). By comparison, Sen. Craig Thomas got 42,000 more votes than she did — almost 50% more votes than she received, which is completely inexcusable. Our best hope is to try to persuade former State Treasurer Cynthia Lummis into the race, though any of the sitting statewide GOP officeholders would be acceptable.

The list of vulnerable Republicans members was shown publicly during a hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on alleged misconduct at the GSA. Committee Chairman Henry Waxman, D-Calif., said such a political briefing should not have happened at a federal agency.

Of course! Old Nostrilitis believes that federal agencies are for launching partisan witch hunts against Republicans.

The primaries are the place where you get the unsatisfactory congresscritters unseated. I hope that the good people of Wyoming will find able candidates for the job. Best wishes!
