Rush breaking out with some truth concerning Fred and his conservatism, might be too little too late to help rescue the GOP from an historic blunder in the making. If Republicans don't wake up soon and stop the GOP`s leftward lurch, it could be another 40 years lost in the political wilderness.

I’ve never watched or listened to Rush, but apparently the man has some clout. Any sane person knows...it’s Fred or it’s a liberal or uncertain candidate in our nomination.

I’m for certainty and the closest thing to my values is Fred. I believe he’ll do his best in making sure this country goes the right way. Reagan didn’t tilt everything to our advantage, but he lead is in a direction...we had to continue on that coarse. We always have to.

This nomination will show if we really want and have the courage of those convictions or if we’re divided among our impracticalities and delusions.

I certainly hope this helps Fred get his message on-track, because that's what he needs most--to get his communications department in order.

He has the right ideas. Like W, though, he has a terrible way of getting them across.

Pretty hard to argue with this. Would like to hear more from Fred overall and more about his history of voting etc. In the big picture of things Fred pretty much just showed up at the carnival so let's atleast give some people some time to get to know him and his record, before ripping them too hard.

If people are forgetting what a real conservative candidate sounds like Fred needs to be out there as much as possible in every important way to remind them. If he is a shoe in as a conservative candidate on our end, he needs to convince them too that he can beat Hilary. The job is all Fred's, his team, and his supporters right now and I wish them all the best.

We need not compromise. Our message is solid. It just needs to get out there. Strong on defense. Fiscal conservative. Strongly against illegal immigration and conservative on social issues. It is not that difficult to understand and that simple clear message needs to get out there and prove it can beat the Clintoon wacko machine.

No need to blame others. Fred is the one that chose to show up later. Now give the people a chance to hear him and a reason to believe in him. Do you blame people for being scared of the damage Hilary will do? We all are. So let's agree on this vital concern and remind the conservatives of who should be the man for the job or sell them.

I have been keeping my eye and ear out for Fred and I still don't know much about him. Me thinks it is time for some strong campaigning.
