You see, the problem is McCain really doesnt like us. To a large degree hes bought into the moonbat caricature of conservatives, thinking were bigots and yahoos who lack hearts. But hes figured out a way to deal with us. Hes going to throw us some red meat during the campaign; hell give us some lip service when he has to and once he placates us enough that we vote him into office, hes stubbornly going to go right back to what he wants to do. You can do that sort of thing and keep a clear conscience when youre doing it to people you dont respect, I guess. More . . .

McCain’s lip service, to me, is better than living under a president barry’s socialist country. We Republicans had better come to grips with what will be if barry is elected. There are a lot of issues that I disagree with McCain on, but better the devil you know than the one you don’t.
Do you think Sen. McCain meeting with the Rev. Billy Graham over the weekend part of his message that he is not into me — a conservative Christian man?
Actually, I don’t think McInsane (or McNasty, depending upon who is describing him) likes ANYBODY.
But the alternative is ever so MUCH worse...
His bone will have to be the Vice Presidency. Choose a moderate and he will lose. He needs us, even if he doesn’t like us.
My voting strategy for November...
I dislike McCain
I despise Barack
Not very appetizing, but making the best of a bad bargain.
Right, politicians never pander for votes. Especially McCain.
We pretty well know what a President Obama will do.
We don’t have a clue what a President McCain will do.
And that is to McCain’s detriment — he is not trustworthy.
He signaled he would not push amnesty. Then, he meets with Hispanic groups and promises he will push for amnesty.
He signaled he would appoint Alito-Roberts type Justices. Then, he states proudly that he voted for Ginsberg and Breyer.
So, do you: Go with the devil you know or the devil you don’t know?
He’ll nominate SCOTUS justices like Alito-Roberts who will strike down his most notable legislative achievements??? (McCain-Feingold): the irony is too delicious.
Kerry could lend both of these guys his flip-flops for the next few months
I don’t know, you don’t make a very convincing argument for why people should bother to get out of bed on election day. It’s depressing. I just listened to McCain’s talk about how illegal immigrants are God’s Children. I don’t know about you, but when my kids are being bad I don’t make a point of telling them how despite their naughty behavior they are still my babies. That’s just dysfunctional, I don’t see how people can respect John McCain. He seems like an idiot with not a lot of insight.
He doesn’t have my vote.
McCain’s base has relocated and his TACAN can’t lock in on it. He will crash another plane flying around looking for it and his fuel runs out!
W was chosen over McCain 8 years ago. It was not a mistake.
The “the alternative is worse” mantra isn’t working on many of us. As I see it the alternative is the same, just wearing a different uniform. McCain loves big government, Obama loves big government - either way the election goes we are going to get big government, increased federal spending, more government regulation, more assaults on our individual liberty and continued devaluation of the dollar.
Either way we are in serious trouble.
Yes, but, no one is really for McPain. We are just AGAINST Oprah’s Obama. He knows that.
I'm an old observer of the actions of John McQueeg, and the only thing I can say about the Veep thing is that his choice will probably P*** us off.
All true, we are doomed. Many resent Oprah’s Obama being a heavy favorite for President when he has less experience than the “inexperienced” Dan Quayle had for vice president.
