If the media are correct in their predictions, than Barack Obama will select the candidate with the biggest foreign policy resume as his running mate: Joseph Biden. With news outlets from the Wall Street Journal to the Los Angeles Times agreeing that Biden's stock has shot up in recent days, and foreign policy becoming an ever more important topic in the campaign, the British Guardian lays out the case for Biden. Newsweek's The Stumper matches speculation with reporting to conclude that Biden will become Obama's vice presidential candidate. Jonathan Cohn at The Plank, as well as Steve Clemons at The Washington Note, agree that all circumstancial evidence points to the Delaware Senator and also agree that Biden wouldn't be the worst choice Obama could make.
Just for good measure, let's throw a contrarian view into the mix. It comes via Jim Wooten at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: "If theres a politician in America who matches Obama for arrogance, its Joe Biden."
From [here].

“I had a good dump.” That is exactly what Biden said, Wednesday of this week.
Can anyone imagine if a Republican had said this?

Obama picks Biden.
Biden and his son were instrumental in shutting down and discrediting Larry Sinclair.

If he puts his ego aside and comes to the understanding that he's as dumb as a box of rocks and needs help if he gets that 3 AM phone call - He will pick Biden. The down side for him is that he is being overshadowed by a much more experienced VP.
If he wants to not be overshadowed by the VP, and maybe win Swing State Indiana, Bayh may be the answer. But Indiana is the only thing he will gain from that choice. To everyone else, its Bayh who?

You know it’s possible that George Thorougood is the VP nominee. He’s from Deleware. Right.

Folks, if Obama foolishly picks Joe Biden for his Veep choice, then YOURS TRULY is going to take FULL CREDIT for the quick death of the Obama campaign. I am NOT KIDDING. You will find out the details later but my DUmmie FUnnies partner in crime, Charles Henrickson, knows about it since I FreepMailed the info to him a few days ago.
And that is all I'm going to say except that Biden will end up as the biggest laughingtock in American political history.

Biden was born in Scranton and may help in PA. That’s all he brings electorally.
The best thing to say about Biden is that his wife Jill is lovely and nice and almost as cool as Hadassa Lieberman.
I find it hard to believe that DU would be very enthusiastic about this.

I cant believe that conservative people are getting sucked into the minute-by-minute wondering about who Obama has selected to be his VP candidate.Huge ditto! While a little curiosity is healthy this silly goose chase is nothing to waste my time on.
He'll pick and then we will nitpick. Until then it is an utter waste of time.
This is my one and only post on the subject. Talk to y'all after the Big O announces his choice.

Who DID shoot JR?
And 30 years from now a nice trivia game will ask who was Obama’s running mate.
