Gallup tommorrow will show McCain 54% and Obama 44%. Sounds like it might be "game over" to me.

Nothing is over. We need to win 70% to 30 if we can.

Right. Way too early for gloating, although it is fair to say I'd rather be in McCain's shoes than Obama's right now.

We need to win 70% to 30 if we can. I'm with you. I want Obama to be beaten so badly that the democrats never nominate a marxist POS again.
I'm probably dreaming here ... but a drubbing MIGHT convince the democrats that they have to do some soul searching and maybe, just maybe, purge the moonbats from their leadership and become a viable alternative to the Republican party.

Poll numbers look excellent, too bad the election isn't next week. Let's not get too cocky, then complacent. November 4th is still a couple of months away. Plenty of time for the dems to get a new plan of attack.

We need to work harder. Take nothing for granted.

I’m in California. It’s hard for me to tell how the rest of the country is taking Palin.
How is McCain doing in the swing states?
What’s the typical post convention bounce (that Obama did not get)?

Stay the course, Liberal media.
This is going exactly as planned.

I’ve been thinking that I don’t just want to win this election. I want Obama to lose so badly that he pulls several Senate and Congressional races down with him. I want him to get a butt kicking like McGovern. Is that asking too much? Lol
Maybe he will just go back to Illinois and never come back.

BHO's usual m.o. is to try to get his opponents removed from the ballot or force them out of the race by getting divorce records unsealed. So far their efforts in that regard in Alaska don't seem to be panning out. What's next? Getting McCain removed from the ballot in battleground states on the grounds that he's not a "natural born citizen"?
Usually the big dirty tricks are used just before the election (think the DUI story in 2000) but if his numbers drop he may have to start using them sooner.
