p.s. She has already proven herself as Governor and has Military/Intel bona fides. It's twuu, it's twuu. . .

Any well-reasoned dissent, bring it.

One good thing about Sarah in the US Senate in 2010 would be that she does attract the media and would be able to get the message out that the Democratic controlled Congress has so far run up a multi-trillion dollar deficit since Jan 2007.

We need to get that message out now! In their first budget cycle of 2008 the Democrats ran up a $455 billion dollar deficit and for 2009 it is looking to be at least a $1 trillion dollar deficit. That's more than the Republicans ran up when they were in control, yet it isn't making the news!

The Houses of Representatives by decree of the US Constitution controls all money appropriations.

Your arguments are clear, concicse, VERY well-written, and demonstrate a penetrating logic and level of erudition not often seen in vanity posts.

Sarah Palin should remain as Governor of Alaska and concentrate on doing her current job as well as possible. No one knows what the future will bring. As she gains more experience she can consider running for higher office but for now she should concentrate on doing the job she was elected to do and not scheme about some Obama type career of two years in the Senate and then President. I was very impressed by Governor Palin’s performance in the recent election but her lack of experience was very clear. She should remain as Governor of Alaska and focus on doing a good job.

I don’t want to see her in the whirl of Beltway politics. She’s better off staying on as Alaska’s governor until she’s ready to run for Prez. The Senate is a corrupting influence.

As long as you call her by her first name she is not going to win.

Sarah can take care of herself. She didn’t get this far with our help. I trust her instincts. I am betting on her. If not it wasn’t meant to be no matter what you or I think. No, I did not read but the title of your post.

This is a bad idea, running for the senate seat. The person Palin is running against in 2012 (if she does) will be the incumbent siting in an executive chair. She would need to have a similar position (governor). By selectively campaigning for others running in 2010, she will remain in the national spotlight and she can pick which candidates/platform ideas she wants to align with. Governor Palin will in all likelyhood still be governor of the great state of Alaska in 2011 and will run from that position for President. If Barack has high opinion ratings and things are flowing smoothly, my bet is she does not run until 2016, only if Barack is weak will any challenger stand a chance since BO has the MSM so heavily on his side.
