McCain would have gotten maybe ten votes without Palen.
I hated the thought of having McCain as the nominee from the start and I swore I wouldn’t vote for him if he was.
If Hillary had been the nominee I might have stayed home, but I consider Obama to be dangerous, so I was prepared to hold my nose and vote for Juan.
Then Sarah joined the team, and I could be enthusiastic about her!
Now, I can’t say I am unhappy Juan lost. If he had won, he would be doing this same crap, and I would have had to hope that he would.... pass the presidency on to Sarah.
At least I am not surprised when Obama or one of his crew is a traitor.
McCain is now buddy buddy with the press again. He has hopped on the “Bash Sarah bandwagon” he wants the love and attention from the media again, so now he will do different media shows, bashing Sarah saying that he hasn’t decided on whether he would support her for President. THANKS JOHN, Sarah don’t need ya, you know why, because John McCain is a train wreck, I hope Sarah says “John McCain, who the hell is that, never heard of him” I can’t wait for Sarah’s book to come out so that she can show the world the REAL John McCain, actually I think McCain has already shown the world who he is, a RINO piece of poo, at least I can give Obama credit for not lying about who he is, I knew who he was from day 1, McCain on the other hand has been a fraud and I just couldn’t see it, or didn’t want to see it, I can honestly say right now that I hate John McCain, because he used Sarah, and threw her away when he didn’t get what he wanted. It’s not like he would have allowed her to do anything if he had won anyway, he would have locked her in the closet and had the presidency all to himself. He is the TRUE definition of a loser
Relevancy was never one of McCains’ strong suits! Sad.
Looks like an invitation to Chrissy's show and another chance to eat the sandwiches in their green room to me....
"... Senator John McCain: former POW and Presidential candidate, a man trapped in his own delusions... "
That's the difference Mr. McCain - you hit back when struck. You can do it with a smile but you have to do it or you'll get hit again.
But instead, W's Bailout-of-the-Month Club becomes the end of the Party.
.
“Thank God hes not president-elect. That would be the end of the party.

W’s certainly not helping the party, but, at this point, everyone knows he’s gone as a player...and is discounted as such.
McCain doesnt yet realize that 2012 is beyond his reach.
Why would you say that??? The idiot American public elected Obama. Can we be sure they wouldn’t elect a cryogenically preserved RINO?

“Somebody in Arizona should NOW announce his candidacy for 2010 McCain’s Senate seat. That’s the only way to::
The chance someone could knock him out in the primary is tiny barring a giant scandal.
and this socialist rino and the GOP that supported him wonder why they lost...the GOP is RIP
That may well be, and I am sorry for people (or conservatives) of Arizona, but without "Shadow Senator" or "Shadow Representative" there is usually no one holding their elected officials feet to the fire or telling people back in the state / district what they say or do or their dealmaking in Washington. In other words, there are no checks on their actions by the time primary comes around and people don't know the primary challenger(s) from Adam, so they go with the "safe" choice, a "known entity" that they know "can win".
What needs to be done, if we want to have people who represent us in Congress instead of ones that do now, is for them to start a process of being a "Shadow" to elected official they want to be either accountable for their actions or be replaced. It needs to be done early and openly, so people will get used to the idea and will start comparing two (or more) candidates well before the short primary.
That doesn't apply just to McCain, or just in this election cycle. This is more of a blueprint of making and keeping GOP conservative by changing the House and the Senate from the outside in, at least in the conservative states and districts with marginal or abysmal representation by Republicans, so they won't be replaced by faux "conservative" "Blue Dog" Democrats, like we now have Senators in Montana, Nebraska and some otherwise reliably conservative Republican states.
Otherwise we are reduced to convincing ourselselves that we can "win by losing", where people are at best apathetic about their Republican representative or worse yet, want him out so they have a chance to replace him in next cycle. We know what happened in 2006 and 2008 with that "strategy".
We all know how Democrats keep playing a "shadow President" (including literally with West Wing TV series) with their leaders press-conferences. Would not "Shadow Senator" or "Shadow Representative" from their own party serve Republicans and their constituents even better? I think it's worth a try. Actually, I think it's the only way to remain relevant, let alone win.
