Is Jindal the New Gipper?

Note how the Louisiana governor picks apart the porkulus bill piece by piece while simultaneously sounding like what the conservative movement has been hoping for since about 2004. He is reasoned and articulate while sounding highly informed and calm.

This dude will be a force come 2012:

(VIDEO AT LINK)

Palin, Pawlenty, Sanford and Jindal; a nice start to ousting Obama.

Via Allah.

Update: Ah, the short memory of The One:

"What I don’t want us to do, though, is to just get caught up in the same old stuff that inhibits us from acting effectively and in concert. There’s going to be ample time for campaigns down the road."

This from a man who started campaigning for the 2008 race when he spoke for Kerry in 2004.

There is no new Gipper, and when we accept that we’ll be a lot better off.

No, but we do have to pick a candidate who has enough verbal skill to deal with the minefields of our media and the messiah at the same time.

They have to get elected before they can run the government.

Wow. I like Jindal, and I've been hoping he'd be a strong 2012 candidate. But are you frickin' joking me? He spend 80% of his camera time sucking up to Obama! He gets an F minus for this one performance in my book. He's acting so centrist and friendly, he makes McCain sound like "B-1" Bob Dornan.

Agreed. We have a fine field of candidates any one of whom could carry the Conservative banner well. Time now for patience in picking the correct one. Let the stew mellow for a year while we fight with Democrats. No need to pick the "winning horse" just yet.

There is no "new gipper. Ronal Reagan was a man for his time and that time is past. What we need is a new bearer for the Conservative banner.

Whoever is chosen, the bulk of the heavy lifting remains ours, not theirs.

Victory in 2012!

Somewhere out there is another strong conservative...

Here are 11 states rejecting Obama’s fed power grab...

we need to show support for these states.

Ummm...that's why they call it "politics." The American voters will never support a bomb thrower. Jindal was polite and positive while raising the objections that needed raising. Lashing out at a President carrying a 60% popularity rating will not win the people over.

Right now is the time to be nice and polite while holding firm on Conservative principles.

>> Lashing out at a President carrying a 60% popularity rating will not win the people over. <<

Tell that to Barrack Obama and Howard Dean and George Soros who were relentlessly and viciously attacking President Bush while his approval ratings were over 80%. Of course, I’m not calling for their kind of viciousness, rage, and slander. All I’m doing is that he not say, “Thank you, kind sir” while President Obama rapes him and all of America up the rectum.

What’s Jindal’s position on outsourcing to India?

Jindal articulates the Reagan philosophy well. But he’s got a lot of maturing and style development before he’ll ever come close to being Reagan.
