It was in the name of fairness, that we built public housing.
It was in the name of fairness, that we paid women to have out of wedlock babies by multiple fathers.
It was in the name of fairness, that we fed them with food stamps and AFDC.
It was in the name of fairness, that we cultivated a dependent class of our fellow citizens. No “man” kept them down, except the man that was themself.
It is now in the name of fairness, that we give up our freedom and God given rights, so that we can become an type of nation that is unknown to many of its citizens and those who fled oppressive nations.
It will be in the name of fairness, that the many will enslave a new generation to come. This new generation will need a Lincoln to rise up among them, to set them free. It will not be an easy task. And it may well be impossible.
I know what your saying so well. The National Anthem has always filled me with teary eyed pride. Now I just want to sob. I’ve come to the conclusion I’m in mourning. While I will fight to return this country to greatness, I’m not confident enough of my fellow Americans feel the same way.
feels like whistling past the graveyard????
it’s like it has become a nostalgia thing now. that will probably change once the Bummer and his minions are cast out.
