New polling data shows President Barack Obama’s Job Approval continues to slide.

The Real Clear Politics average of seven polls taken from June 17 through July 8 shows that the president garnered 46.4 percent favorable and 47.9 unfavorable, for a -1.5 deficit in job approval. However, the two most recent polls show larger margins of disapproval.

I can never figure out what the 46.4 percent think he has done that could possibly be considered “favorable”.

Dictators don’t care about polls.

The only reason you see a figure that high is that RCP includes in the average polls that survey “all adults” and “all registered voters.”

“All adults” includes the kind of people you see on Leno’s Jaywalking. Like the one who is shown a picture of Hillary and has no idea of who she is. Or the one who is asked the capital of the U.S. and says Australia. Or the one who is asked to name one of the ten commandments and blurts out “freedom of speech!”

Any surprise that such people give Obamalini a favorable rating? His numbers are lower among “likely voters,” the people who actually read and follow the news.

They also include polls that oversample Dims.

He slides in the polls and will continue to do so. Until he outlaws them. The systematic devolution of this country has been ongoing fulltilt for about 18 months. This is by plan; our troubles are not an accident. If you believe they aren't, you will also be amazed when this devil wins a landslide election in 2012, or so they will claim. Either that, or he will do away with elections altogether.

The problem in this country is that it has had two and half generations of relative prosperity in which time to forget that evil does exist in this world. The evil currently seeded in the White House has the capacity to commit much graver outcomes than Hitler or Stalin.

Those man on the street interviews of Leno's were some of the scariest things I have ever seen. Some of those interviewed were TEACHERS!!

Maybe Ceausescu should have taken some.

Just imagine how absolutely awful Bush had to be to drop to 25% approval and 71% disapproval. Obama is nowhere near where he was and look at all that’s happened.

Bush was riding high at this point in his presidency. It took the media (and several self-inflicted wounds) 5-6 years to get to those low numbers.
