Republican candidate for Governor Karen Handel announced that former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin will campaign on her behalf in Georgia.
Palin will help Handel campaign ahead of the the August 10, 2010 runoff election against Nathan Deal.
Palin released the following statement:I'm coming to Georgia to campaign with my friend Karen because it is absolutely critical that Georgians nominate an ethical leader and a true conservative to take the fight to Roy Barnes in November, Palin said.
The rally will happen at noon, however a location has not been determined yet.

Thank you, Madam President-to-be.

I’d frankly prefer to see her going to Arizona in this, their time of need, and campaign against John McCain. But, oh well...

How do you think the Obots in the news media (i.e., 98.7% of them) would spin Governor Sarah Palin “backstabbing” her 2008 running mate? She endorsed him in April and hasn’t turned a finger for him since, as I understand it, which in that situation is almost like remaining neutral.

Don’t ever misunderestimate or refudiate Sarah. She has the best political instincts I’ve ever seen. And, damn, she’s not an ivy leaguer.

...it is absolutely critical that Georgians nominate an ethical leader and a true conservative to take the fight to Roy Barnes in November. Thank you, Governor Palin, but you helped prevent that from happening with your poor choice in endorsements.

She’s 10 for 14. You may not like some of her picks, but they’re hardly “poor choices” to most of us.

Shes 10 for 14. You may not like some of her picks, but theyre hardly poor choices to most of us. I'm afraid I don't understand your post. I would like my state, one of the most conservative in the nation, to have an effective and conservative governor. Ms. Palin's endorsement of a bureaucrat who refused to participate in any of the debates helped prevent that. I don't really care what her 'score' is. I don't dislike her, I just wish she'd stayed out of a state primary that she apparently knows little about.

Then don't lie about all her endorsements like you did in a previous post on this thread.
When you make a blanket statement about her endorsements (plural), then either you are ill-informed or purposefully lying.
You may not like THIS endorsement and may be able to point to a couple more as less than stellar, however, the vast majority of her endorsements have been awesome!

Just so you aren't confused anymore the plural of choice is choices. I did not use the plural, and was therefore not referring to more than one choice. I'm not one of your serial Palin bashers and I'm not interested in taking flak from one of her self appointed defenders. And I don't like being called a liar by someone who doesn't understand basic grammar.

Has anyone seen any polls for the Handel-Deal runoff. Tonight the Handel campaign released a commercial where they link Palin to Handel and call her a conservative for Georgia.

According to a McLaughlin poll taken July 22, Handel and Deal are in a virtual deadlock statewide, with Deal leading Handel by a single percentage point 39 percent to 38 percent.Times-Georgian

Thanks for nothing, Sarah. Endorsing Karen Handel over Nathan Deal is at least as good a move as endorsing McCain over Hayworth.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
I wrote from the standpoint of wishing she’d never have endorsed McCain in the first place.
