List of Republican RINOS who voted for TARP
RINOList.org ^ | Aug 9, 2010 | donjuan

We have been scouring the interwebs for lists of the Republicans who voted for the big three bills that have had destructive consequences for the country. Several searches on Google have gotten us very little on the top searches, only on maybe the second or third page do we find lists. Even then they are somewhat hard to maneuver. So we wanted to compile these lists so you can know which RINOs voted for these atrocious bills. We will start rolling these out over the course of the week and keep them in the lists category for future ease of use. The first is TARP. The rest will be out this week, so stay tuned.

“Tomorrow, we will list the Republicans that voted for Obama’s Stimulus...”

Even if you include Republicans who voted for ObamaCare in that list, that’s going to be the shortest thread in FR history.

To paraphrase Seinfeld’s show theme...it will a thread about nothing. ;o)

you rather remind me of the Monty Python warrior who is whittled down to nothing but still wants to fight.

You remind me of the 19th century snake oil salesman who keeps making money (campaign contributions) by selling a potion that does nothing it is advertised to do (campaign to the right, govern to the center). Right-wing with poor judgment does not appear reliable to me. Especially when important/critical issues come up for a vote, I expect the candidates I support to vote in accordance with the people who put him there. Stop bailing out any sort of business with government funds; let them go bankrupt and send the incompetent management packing.

If you are going to toss Herger, with a 2009 100% rating with the ACU and more than 96% lifetime, you have no one, no one, left to vote for.

Herger’s voting record is the 5th most conservative in California, and ranks with Duncan Hunter, Darryl Issa, Tom McClintock Dan Lungren.

Campbell is 92%.

thank you for the observations on the list. Paul Ryan has been added. Also, I have been able to find the error about Lindsey Graham. Sorry for the error. I appreciate any corrections, unlike the Journolist media, RINOList.org tries to post all of our errors on the page in question and then tries to give attribution. Mistakes happen, thank you for your help!

The point of listing the roll call on TARP is NOT an immediate condemnation to Political Hades. RINOList is NOT a surly mob with pitchforks and flames ready to burn the witches. The list of the reps and senators who voted for the TARP “its a Trap” Bailout Bill is to inform Conservatives and Tea Party voters of whom they are really voting for. If their elected reps want to answer that they were hoodwinked, then let them have the honor of explaining themselves, they have that right. But also let the voters have their right to be somewhat incredulous at the wholesale forfeiture of Limited Government Principles in exchange for soft Socialism. Thank you that is all, God bless.

Well, I think at least one of them is.

Besides, putting the label RINO on either Wally Herger or John Campbell is a huge mistake, and injustice. There are probably others on the list that would qualify as good, reliable conservatives, but I'm commenting on two in particular that I know about.

When push came to shove, Campbell and Herger voted to take tax money and bail out private banks and car companies. They had no idea what was in the hundreds of pages of legislation they voted for. We need conservatives who stay conservative in the most crucial moments. These two (and all the other TARP-Republicans who took and continue to take campaign contributions from people like you and me) did not measure up that day and need to be replaced with other more reliable Republicans.
