This space never has had anything negative to blog about Former Congressman Harold Ford Jr. until today. His statement about Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was so grating the television set was turned off.
Ford said that Palin was going to run for President and that she was "formidable." That was when this space wondered if Ford was being paid by a Republican operative.
Sarah Palin has so many errors and mistakes that will be tossed back at her in the middle of a presidential campaign it would be embarrassing. Ford saying she was "formidable" just gives hope to her foolish faithful. There's not much more to say there.(continued)

Ford has always struck me as a decent guy; especially considering how corrupt his family and party are.
If they cared about blunders, they would be more concerned with Obama and Biden.
Ha Ha! Don't you just love the concern this guy has for Palin supporters? He only wants to stop any embarrasment. He is so scared of Sarah running. I can almost see him shaking!
I like him (Ford) too. About this writer - if he really thought Sara was a loser he would be supporting her all the way. Maybe he thinks his readers aren’t smart enough to figure that out.

Yeah, but the risk was that Ford would gain power, and then he'd serve in a manner similar to his family history, not his own past history. And that his gaining power would enable his corrupt family to gain power.

I will say he always seemed reasonable, for a Dem. But that's for a Dem.
And I'll also say that the "Playboy Party at the Superbowl" slam against him when he ran for Senate was just stupid politics. It wasn't racist, but it was definitely "lowest common denominator" mudslinging. A single man going to a party where there are guaranteed beautiful women - who'd have thunk it?!?

I think I spotted Harold Ford on a Sunday news show panel recently, but I didn’t pay attention to his looks. I recall that I quickly changed the channel. He’s living in NYC. That’s all I know.

-Left AK with $8 billion rainy day fund and $1 billion education fund.
-Broke up CBC (Corrupt B*stards Club) of Republican pols and oil company execs.
-Reset profit sharing arrangements for use of AK resources.
-Got gas pipeline project approved that had been kicking around for decades.
-Got Exxon to finally drill at Pt Thompson lease that they had been holding as an investment.
-Told us in 2008 exactly who Obama was and what he was going to do.
None of these things are mistakes or errors. Her private life hasn’t shown many errors either. No divorces, ex-boyfriends, financial improprieties. She has been vetted better than any candidate in history. So, liberals, you may not have the weapons in your arsenal that you suppose.
