I am not offended in the least....this behavior is VERY typical of the Republican party.
For decades now GOP officeholders, candidates, our voters, our mainstream center-right pundits, commentators, and media, all dance to the more powerful leftwing war room.
(We)react to their national narrative, their conventional wisdom....always and forever.
Repeating a weak argument doesn’t make it a strong one (get it?).
But you can’t describe which specific presidential duties Palin wouldn’t be able to handle once she gets into the White House.
So you lose the argument.
People post these kind of things and I have to ask them: Who then? Give me the alternative to Governor Sarah Palin. Show me the conservative Republican candidate with charisma, experience, smarts and “gravitas” who can beat Mr. Obama or Secretary Hillary Clinton in 2012. Someone with some national prominence who can raise the money and form the team needed to win the primaries and the general election. That person will be my new candidate for 2012. But no one will point them out to me. I think I know why.
And then there was THIS little gem...

Then pull the trigger now and start your purification of dissent. All you will do is weaken the conservative movement, but its your site and your decision. You call the shots.

No, I suspect you will go noisily. But go you will.

That was my take, too. Enough of the ‘who will it be in ‘12,’ ‘will you be running in ‘12’ questions already. It’s not even a month since the ‘10 elections; the GOP majority has yet to be installed in the House. Let’s give it all a breather.
Deal with Putin
Deal with the unions
Deal with China

Deal with Chavez, Castro, Ortega, et al in Latin America
Deal with two wars
Deal with record unemployment
Deal with the EU's differences regarding the economy, the WOT, the dollar...
Deal with the UN
Deal with GM, Chrysler, AIG, Citi and the TARP fallout
Broker a working replacement to obama care
Deal with the millions of illegals here (we know her ideas on that)
Close the border
Deal with exploding violence on that border
Deal with the gay agenda
Shall I continue?
Oh, and all at the same time.
Sorry but mayor of tinytown and half a term as governor of a state with the smallest population and economy just doesn't cut it.
You are free of course to try to convince my otherwise...
I think any number of Republicans could beat Obama in 2012. No patriotic American is going to want to suffer 8 years of this regime.
What does it take to deal with these things?
What personal quality is most important, first, before anything else?
You know what it is. And voters know Palin has it.
Same here. And speaking of the primaries, can you imagine the FR cyber bloodbath in this emotionally-charged atmosphere come primary time? We're still over a year away!
She resigned... She quit... six in one hand, half a dozen in the other. What’s your point? Christie is standing up to the “good ole boy” network too, fettering out cronyism and corruption.
None of the named contenders have the guts to battle the most potent weapon of our enemy.
Their most potent weapon is corruption itself.
Romney and Huckabee are very weak, vulnerable to taking bribes, kickbacks or other forms of personal gain. So are the rest of them.
Palin is the only presidential contender who has built her political career based on fighting corruption. Walking the walk.
I didn’t say “Republicans” I said “conservative Republicans” which isn’t the same thing. Yes, a Romney or Pawlenty or even a Huckabee has a good shot at beating Obama, but then what?
Christie has put more corrupt govt officials away tha you can ever imagine.
Christie is also standing up to the American people.
Christie, side by side with the moslem jihadists, as they apply for federal funding to build a mosque on the site of 911.
Does Christie have a connection to this special interest? Don’t know, just asking. Maybe his only connection is his fear of standing up to political correctness.
If he has done this in the name of justice, then good.
But it doesn’t seem he understands the concept of justice, not on the level a president needs to understand it.
If he did, he would have opposes the 911 victory mosque.
So when Al-Qaeda wants to build a bridge to nowhere, she’ll know what to do. LOL
I said “any Republican” which includes “conservative Republicans”.
I don’t mind humor.
But if you have an idea you would like to assert, would you translate your joke into a straighforward, serious statement?
For the sake of clarity. Otherwise your comment is as meaningful as something Jon Stewart would say.
Israel-PA problems
Cap and trade efforts
NASA
FEMA
Natural disasters
Education
Trade wars
Dis-mantling the entitlement society
Dis-mantling the bloated bureacracy
Domestic terror
Changing TSA....
And, as I wrote...all at once.
Nope you try to say that all it takes is one attribute that you yourself won't name...
Weak, very weak.
