Just after the election, this board was filled with free advice that she needed to get down here in the states, fight toe-to-toe against Obama's gangster government, help get Conservative congressional candidates elected in 2010, and find some way of getting around the MSM and repairing the damage the libs had done to her reputation.
So, here she is, two years later, and having done all of that, you are now telling us that she is overexposed and should go back to Wasilla, sit down, and shut up.

I believe you just did. Christie didnt “roll his eyes” when asked about Palin. He said “anything is possible” when asked if she can be elected. If you called him a coward based on what someone said he did, then that just makes you ignorant.
Where in Deus’ post (90) did he say anything negative about Sarah? Where did he say Sarah should go back to Wasilla because she is overexposed?

Because Conservatives are always fodder for Hollywood comedians, opinion makers, the MSM, and Democrats. So if a pol want to ingratiate themselves with the center left, and get good press all they have to do is make fun of Palin and the tea party Americans. (not sure if he is a Rino, but Rinos often pretend that Palin/tea party are insane..to marginalize them, and to present themselves as "sane"..Frum does is all the time)

Rolling his eyes and saying “anything is possible” sends the politically correct message that a Palin presidency is a freak accident. But not speaking in a straightforward manner saves him the political risk of a backlash, because he knows his own support comes from Palin supporters.
Failing, on national television, to answer the most prominent question of current politics is not the action of a real leader.

Christie was unquestionably giving the politically correct, "Isn't insane that it's even a possibility?" response to the question about a Palin presidency. And that's exactly how the crowd and Fallon interpreted it.
That's fine, if that's his opinion. As I said, I like Christie very much, but he has a bit of that "nobody could possibly be as good for the job as me" personality. Same as Guiliani.
It's a good trait to have when you've got to beat down some unions or leftwing activists. But it might be limiting in the long term.
It sells for conservatives on the east coast, anyway - where people love to see some pretentious liberal douchebags smacked around now and then.

Well, he didnt roll his eyes. He was asked if he thought it could happen and he said it was possible. Why is it important if the NJ Gov thinks a former Ak Gov can be president?
And how is “can Palin be President” the most prominent question in current politics? Wouldnt a question on how to act against North Korea, how to cut the state and federal budget, and how to react to the TSA issue be more prominent right now?

It's fine though. Nobody is obligated to support Palin for the presidency at this time. If she wants and gets the nomination, I'll be more demanding of Republican politicians.
That's why we have a nomination process.
Years ago, Sarah Palin met the challenge of taking on the good ole boy network in Alaska, including Big Oil. She was opposed by her own party, but kept on going because she wanted to do the right thing.
And Palin won. Corruption and cronyism were her targets, and some of them went to prison.
Then Palin became Governor. And she resigned because she knew it was her the political psychopaths wanted, not the office of the Governor itself. In resigning, she drew the fire away from the office and away from the people of Alaska. This saved the people of Alaska from defeat. (If the head of state is defeated, the people lose. Get it?)
In resigning, Palin drew fire to herself, and she fought back against the left as a private citizen.
And she won.
