If Sarah is as bad as your portray her to be, if she is not a conservative, and if she is not a strong candidate as you insist, why would her influence be useful for the GOP or the GOP candidate?

Because some conservatives are infatuated with her. They fooled themselves into thinking she is the second coming of Ronald Reagan, despite her less than conservative record and less than principled compromises on multiple issues.

The Palin worship is almost the equivalent of the Obama worship in the last election cycle.

Thus, if Palin tells her minions to get behind a candidate, they will do so.

If that is the case, heck, she should run and capitalize on her minions by getting elected herself. If she has the same popularity as Obama did and all that worship, by all means she should run - she’ll end up winning. I’m all for it!
