Republicans need to don a skirt and grow a back bone: Wisconsin revisited
Canada Free Press ^ | March 13, 2011 | LTC Carmen Reynolds (USAF-Ret.)

Rush Limbaugh said the only Republican folks with a back bone are Palin and Bachmann.

Last week Congress was apprised by the Heritage Foundation about the provision in the Obamacare bill which appropriates $105 billion towards its funding- a complete and fraudulent circumvention of the legislative process.

In the bill, instead of following the rules and letting the next Congress go through the appropriations process, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats appropriated billions of dollars in funding for Obamacare without holding a single hearing, or even allowing Members of Congress a chance to read the bill. Why is Bachmann one of the few sirens of this message? Why is she not getting the attention and backing of her fellow Republicans?

As a former female senior military officer, I know telling it like it is becomes unpopular. I’ve often wondered why everything must be sugar coated to be palatable. Why do the guys “play nice” all the time, going along just to get along like some happy sports team?

Take for instance the situation in Wisconsin where Gov. Walker is being labeled a bully. Hardly.

I would have handled the situation much differently. To heck with the $100-per-day fines for the AWOL Democrat legislators! I’m not sure if the $250-per-day fines being bandied about in Indiana are even enough. Lessons must be taught here....

Easy for a dumb-ass armchair quarterback to say. It seems that Mr. Limbaugh is not the only one who mistakes responsibility-free gum-flapping with "backbone."

Does anyone else see the irony of this statement?

If tough talking chicks were really worth their weight in gold, we’d be running a budget surplus by now.

Tho you may think Limbaugh is a “dumb-ass armchair quarterback” (ouch tres harsh I think), if you you read the article closely, it looks as tho he is not the one who said that, the article’s author did.

“Tough talking chicks?” Governor Palin took on the corrupt “good ol’ boy” clique in Alaska, which had members in both parties. Since being nominated for the vice presidential spot in 2008, she has consistently been the only major private citizen opposing the Obama regime. Congresswoman Bachmann just discovered $110 billion illegally added to ObamaCare!

Oh guess you were not talking about Limbaugh? However, I am not sure exactly what your point was. Please clarify.

“The sooner Republicans don a skirt (if that’s what it takes), grow some cojones and walk the talk, the better. Otherwise, they’ll become the next raggedy has-been doormat destined for the political landfill.”

I like her style!!!

Yep, grow some cojones and walk the talk -— otherwise, the not so silent anymore majority in the Tea Party garb can and will replace them! It’s a shame when the toughest “men” in the GOP are women!!!

I'm attacking a dumbass armchair quarterback who is second-guessing a guy who's in the arena, actually doing what this guy can only yap about.

But I can see how you might think that was a comment about your fantasy chicks.

No, I think Limbaugh is a responsibility-free gum-flapper.

I am accusing the author of being a "dumb-ass armchair quarterback."

I have a theory that the reason WOMEN are the “leaders” right now is because if it were men, they’d likely be mostly the “white” guys....and subject to the reverse discrimination men feel today. (Mysogyinists, anti-feminist, etc.) Oh sure, we have some good male minority candidates...but, I believe the women can take the mantel away and not get attacked...like men. Course, they still get attacked...but, it’s different. Maybe I’m just dreaming....

In the military, a lieutenant colonel or commander (O-5) is a middle management executive who usually leads 400-1,500 servicemembers or occupies a relatively senior staff position.

And this guy is still a dumb-ass armchair quarterback. He has no f***ing clue what he’d actually do as a governor in Walker’s position. He’s just another idiot blogger with an asshole and an opinion.
