Palin's speech in India solid and under the radar in DC

While the media was focused on the ongoing civil war in Libya, they let one of their favorite targets slip under the radar. Sarah Palin on Sunday gave a much-anticipated speech in India, fueling more Presidency speculation here in DC.

Unlike most of Palin’s speeches, which are filled with slogans and clichés, this one had far more substance. She used her speech mainly to illustrate the deep ties the United States and India share and to outline a vision of America that encourages entrepreneurship, free markets and limited government. Throughout her speech, she cited examples of how her belief in these values influenced her political career.

Palin also spent several minutes on her favorite issue: American energy. She expressed the importance of energy independence and that this should be achieved by investing in “conventional resources” such as oil, natural gas, coal and nuclear power. Palin was extremely critical of “green jobs” and claimed with sufficient evidence that investing in such technology only leads to higher energy costs and unemployment....

Such as? And it sounds like Cullen read the India Today transcript of her speech, which was laced with exclamation marks by the reporter. He should watch the video.

She gave a fantastic and masterful speech in India. Her critics always have to make up flaws to complain about. Part of the problem is some people assume that because of her good looks and optimism that she must be a barbie-type airhead.

Sarah has it all - brains, beauty, charisma, and charm. Some people will have a hard time accepting that until it she is in the White House.

What idiot started the rumor that Palin's speeches are cliched? She doesn't use cliches and almost all of her speeches are great. The India speech was terrific.

One thing Palin, Bachmann or any other woman running for the Presidency, should avoid is the voice/pitch she uses for yelling at her husband/ex-husband.

No way I want to hear that for four years.
