More power to him for his outspokenness concerning Obama’s birth certificate, but that in no way should vault him to front runner status for the republican nomination.
He is no conservative by a long shot, and his track record over many issues, in particular BANKRUPTCIES, makes him a terrible choice for POTUS, IMO.

I just saw Trump getting Roasted on Comedy Central by Larry King, Snoop Dog and others.
I think Trump would be good to see in the Primary. he may not win the GOP nod but he would liven things up and clarify the debate. He likes Palin too. Better than some of the others out there who have tried to dismiss her as a pretty face with no brains. If he got the nomination (a long shot at best) I could see him tapping Palin as his VP. In a choice between Trump and Obama —i know whom many in the FR would pull the lever for. Besides, lets see what Trump says in the debates (if it even gets this far) I could see him as VP.
