Is Mitch Daniels, the governor of Indiana, going to run for president in 2012?
Mr. Daniels, a wonkish Republican, has not yet said whether he will seek his partys nomination, but his comments Wednesday about immigration could make it a bit more difficult if he does.
Faced with lawmakers who are considering an Arizona-style immigration law, Mr. Daniels said he did not support controversial provisions that sparked a national debate last year that would provide police officers the power to question and detain people they think are illegal immigrants.
I think that legislation will be changed, Mr. Daniels said Wednesday, according to The State Column. I support this, to drop the law enforcement provisions that have been the ones that have bothered most people.

Sarah Palin: Why I Support the Ryan Roadmap (December 10, 2010)
Is she running?
So, Mitch — should we call a “truce” on immigration issues, too?
Get off the stage. You’re not ready for prime time.
What do you think? She’s doing all of this for the fun of it?
I am a betting man, and I have paypal...just so you know.
Hmmm... President Mitch Daniels?? No Thanks...I’m going to \/ote for a 3rd Party???? So far, the GOP candidates aren’t exactly the brightest. Ms Bachman for \/P with Sarah Palin for President?? What a ticket!!! :) (The libs and the NOW CHICKS would go BONKERS!!! :)
Where is the battle for actually cutting the size of government? I’m talking about the government that regulates and controls practically every aspect of our lives at this point. Paul Ryan who voted for TARP has not got one unecessary govt agency that he would shut down and put the padlock on. I have a few: Dept of Energy, Dept of Educ, Dept of HUD, EPA, ATF, TSA, DHS.
Cutting the so called entitlement programs do nothing to enhance our freedom or restore the constitutional republic. We are all being duped by our own leadership. Nobody is holding their feet to the fire.
Lets stop calling Social Security and Medicare entitlements. Every worker in this country is legally required to enroll in and contribute to Social Security and Medicare. There is no choice. It is deducted from your paycheck every 2 weeks. That is not entitlement it is mandatory enrollment in pension and insurance.
Sorry I’m not buying the BS this time around. You shouldn’t either.
The runt is a mental midge. LOL
