Five Reasons The GOP Should Concede 2012 Now (Unintentional Laff Riot!)
News One for Black America ^ | May 2, 2011 | Staff

What a difference a half-year makes. Just months after the 2010 mid-term victory for Republicans, they’ve been pushed to the brink of irrelevancy. Here are five reasons that the Republicans should simply concede the upcoming 2012 presidential election and cut their losses now:

1) Obama got his man. Nothing irks Republicans so much as a Democrat they can’t paint as being soft on crime or terrorism. Obama’s hit on Osama Bin Laden will go down as one of the most masterful military operations in American history. No one is shooting this sheriff.

2) The GOP doesn’t have their man. Or woman. For all the fire and brimstone of the Tea Party movement in the 2010 mid-term elections, the Republicans have not yet produced a viable candidate for 2012. Sarah Palin — who has the best brand recognition, the goodwill of conservatives, and the added bonus of being a woman — has phased herself out of the running with each attempt to cash in on her fame. Michelle Bachman is too crazy even for the crazies. Trump has been slapped back into reality (TV) by Obama’s one-two combination: the Correspondents Dinner and the killing of Osama bin Laden. Mitt Romney is about the only sane one, and he has all the mojo of a dead fish. Unless Bloomberg decides to run as a Republican, it ain’t gonna happen for them.

3) The economy is looking up. We know that sensible people disagree on this assertion. But if you look at the general direction of the important indicators, the odds are in Obama’s favor as the sitting president who presided over a miraculous recovery, albeit incomplete.

4) They’ve got no way to get Black and Latino voters. With the census data going the way it is, its increasingly difficult to win national elections without people of color. And now that the “birther” movement has made it clear that brown and black skinned people — no matter how high they rise in American society — may be called upon to prove their citizenship, Republicans have basically told young multiculturals that they are not welcome in the party, nor in their vision of the nation.

5) Fox News needs ratings. A Republican in the White House will deprive Fox News of its cherished target. And with Glenn Beck on the wane, can they really afford to let Fox wither?

In fact, come to think of it, the Republicans should just concede 2016 as well, unless they can field a candidate who can make the peace with a younger, more multicultural America.

Imagine that I started a site called "News One for White America" or some such and what the uproar would be...

Barack’s presence during Osama’s demise doesn’t undo 3 years of destructive ‘change.’

I figure Obama will get a significant bounce from this, but his “Dead Bin-Ladin Bounce” will be all but gone by the end of summer. Eventually people will wake up from the party with a hangover and realize that we still have $4+ a gallon gas, stagflation and no jobs.

The election is 18mos away and that’s a long time in politics. It’s especially long if the incumbant has a way of torquing off everyone and pleasing no one. He still has a long way to go to be a shoe in, because when it comes down to the basics of life, like energy, people won’t care about Osama bin Nutso like they care about their wallets.

It’ll be more like $5-7 a gallon gas. Heck, there’s a lot of places (California, Hawaii, etc.) where it’s already well over $4 or $5 a gallon.

So you're saying you support a one-party system like they have in COMMUNIST CHINA just because you and your stupid liberal "multiculturalists" can't handle a little conservative truth?

Their "vision of the nation" is a vision of a nation that is NOT MY NATION so go peddle that left-wing utopian bullshit somewhere else!

By next year, his “I got Bin Laden” will be getting about as annoying as John Kerry saying “you know I served in Vietnam...”

I don’t care about gas prices in Cal and Hawaii. They VOTED the scum into office. Let them pay the price for their stinking stupidity.

>>1) Obama’s hit on Osama Bin Laden will go down as one of the most masterful military operations in American history.

Oh yeah. Send in an overwhelming number of SEALs to kill a bunch of ragheads in the middle of the night. That proves the SEAL’s CQB prowess, but doesn’t exactly make Obama seem like a mix of Rommel and Ike!

>> 2) The GOP doesn’t have their man. Or woman.

It’s not 2012 yet. At this time in 2007, the “afercan-mercan commoonty” was still looking at Hillary as their savior.

>>3) The economy is looking up.

If you are an oil speculator, banker, or gummint employee; it is great. If you are everyone else, it sucks...BAD!

>>4) And now that the “birther” movement has made it clear that brown and black skinned people — no matter how high they rise in American society — may be called upon to prove their citizenship

If you vote your color, then perhaps you should have to prove your citizenship! I’d gladly vote for a one-legged, black, lesbian if she represented values that were good for everyone.

>> 5) Fox News needs ratings.

Fox was doing pretty good during W’s administration.

This is mostly garbage and nonsense. Of course Obama can be beaten next year if the GOP produces just a decent candidate.

But over the long run the writer’s insufferable, arrogant, smug confidence is probably justified. Thanks to our mostly unwanted, and largely accidental policy of unending mass immigration, the GOP (or at least a conservative agenda) does face demographic oblivion in the not-too-distant future. History will likely be written by liberals so the narrative will be that a hostile, xenophobic, anti-Hispanic, anti-whatever GOP alienated and pushed away people of color.

The truth of course is that most non-white immigrants are natural Democrats. Always were, always will be, and there was or is nothing the GOP can do about that short of adopting Democratic positions on pretty much everything. It’s sad to say but every Republican President going back to Nixon has been worthless on immigration. We have noone to blame but ourselves.

I am truly worried, some racist Black Nazi talking smack about the sock puppet who was dragged kicking and screaming into making a decision, I would talk so much smack, whitey you hate gave your fecal pile the White House and they will take it away. And that keeps you up at night, we’s coming after your welfare, your lavish student loans and your AFDC..all going away baby, all of it. We’s gonna grow your culture up in a hurry, a-right.

Yup, the bounce will be short lived.

The NYT already writes off Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Noth Carolina, Indiana and a couple other states Obama won last time.

So how you going to pull this off, Black America? He's got to run the table against a no name opposition.

Tell you what, if Obama loses, can we all say the Black voter is irrelevant? 95 % for Obama and he still loses? Why bother voting anymore?

“.... but his “Dead Bin-Ladin Bounce” will be all but gone by the end of summer.”

Unless they have some unequivocal PROOF which is MORE CONVINCING than a video of an unidentified sack of garbage wrapped in a sheet being slid off a board into the ocean, the “bounce” won’t last beyond however long it takes for the populace to realize they’re the victims of ANOTHER scam attempt! The most recent PREVIOUS scam attempt being the fraudulent, forged “Long Form CLB” that was foisted on the world last week!
