Barack Obama’s ideology produces pain for the American people
Liberty Ledger ^ | May 10, 2011 | James H. Shott

As President, Barack Obama has shown the occasional capacity to recognize good policies when he sees them.

As a candidate for president, Mr. Obama continuously condemned George W. Bush for the Guantanamo Bay enemy combatant facility, for enhanced interrogation techniques, rendition, black site interrogation facilities, virtually everything else the nation was doing in the “War on Terror,” and also for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. That technique played well with voters and helped him win the election.

But as president he learned that things look different from inside the Oval Office than from outside on the campaign trail, and he used and benefitted from those same anti-terrorism policies he so bitterly criticized in finding and disposing of Osama bin Laden.

Any of you complainers ever wonder why FR has a check box for EXCERPTS?

Could it possibly be for sources on the EXCERPT LIST?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1111944/posts

Note that the list does not include you.

We are not here to provide you with blog hits.

Why? Are the next three sentences less vacuous than the first three sentences?

2. Follow the link. You might find some things you like.

Or, he might find some things he doesn't like. I always bring bug spray and disinfectant when I visit strange blogs. And that doesn't always work.

S. O. I. A. R.

Clearly you are at the wrong site.

We don't need any bathhouse boys here. Maybe you can Google "Barney Frank" and friend him on FaceBook or whatever you fellers do.

You seem to know more about that than I.

Typical liberal.

Why would a liberal wish for the full content to be posted here, resulting
in much greater exposure? Please explain how you arrive at that conclusion.

Why would someone who’s a conservative post intolerant, nasty, insulting and childish comments (which are the traits of liberals) over whether it is proper/undesirable or whatever to link to another site?

Like S.O.I.A.R.? (Sit on it and rotate)

I think that comment takes the childishness prize on this thread so far.

You have also failed to address my question:

Why would a liberal wish for the full content to be posted here, resulting
in much greater exposure? Please explain how you arrive at that conclusion.

RE: SOIAR - respond in kind, finally.

You have failed to respond to my question. I thought true conservative do not stoop to the kind of comments on this topic. I thought we had higher standards. Guess I was wrong.

Okay, you’ve made your point about excerpts, and I’ve said I thought that was acceptable.

No new ground being covered.

Nice talking with you.

You have failed to respond to my question.

Mine was posed first and you have yet to address it. Regarding your question:

Why would someone who’s a conservative post intolerant, nasty, insulting and childish comments

I cannot answer for you.

Please explain why you made the intolerant, nasty, insulting and
childish comment and then consider your question answered.

Now, back to my question, which should be easy to answer:

Why would a liberal wish for the full content to be posted here, resulting
in much greater exposure? Please explain how you arrive at that conclusion.

I’ve said I thought that was acceptable.

Then why didn't you drop it instead of arguing a poorly thought out contention from a weak position?

Nice talking with you.

Not really, maybe next time if you post in full it will be.

Been unable to locate the comment I mentioned earlier. I did find this comment, which has somewhat the flavor of the FR comment I can't find.

Is President Obama’s oil policy actually just a means to an end?

That was a very well written article. Without bloggers, we wouldn’t get such articles. And without hits to the bloggers’ sites they would not get advertising which pays the bills. And we would have no conservative blogs to read on FR.

Further, Jim Rob said he approves of blogs. Without them, America has Fox (sometimes) and you constantly complain about clicking a link.

And, by the way, I do NOT have a blog.

I'll stop posting on FR, so you win.

It'll save me time and you complainers can chalk up a victory.

You were asked to post in full so FReepers could decide if you deserved a hit. Teaser excerpts to drive traffic away from FR for your profit is unacceptable.

If your writing is not good enough to get FReepers to willing click on your blog that is your shortcoming not mine.

I cannot believe you would give up the exposure that you would gain by posting in full just because of a few blog hits but it is of course your choice.
