CBS EarlyShow Laments: "Instead of attacking each other they turn on Oabama" [Good!]

Posted on 06/14/2011 4:19:59 AM PDT by PRePublic

Erika H. on the CBS "Early Show" Instead of attacking each other they turn on Oabama First Republican national debate / race.

Is that a bad thing? It's the typical liberal psychology to phrase a good thing as "bad."

Four years ago, the RATS all attacked Bush. What’s the difference.

Any of the Republicans would probably be better than what we have now. Even Romney.

Speaking of Romney, if he’s elected, he’ll tend to follow the loudest voice. We’ll have to make sure that voice is ours.

“What’s the difference?”

Americans tend to go for the underdog.

Let’s not create one in Obama.

Good point. How do you inform the public about a president who is evil incarnate, without making it look like we’re piling on?

Couldn’t disagree more and sometimes I wonder where these ideas really come from. This guy needs piled on like no one has ever needed piled on. I’m sure HE would prefer not to be piled on, but, tough.

Don’t have sill debates in media outlets that wear kneepads for Obama.

Instead have town halls all over the country. On big screens, you flash what the person stands for so everyone knows and he/she is on record for it.

Then you ask one question, “what is your plan for turning the country around?” if you give a soundbite, your mic is cut off.

I thought the criticism was excellent. They all were basically telling the truth about the economy and 0’s failed policies. Let me just say they were echoing what the majority of Americans already know. I believe those that see Obama as a “underdog” are liberals who would vote for him under any circumstances, so I’m not too concerned about that.

Obviously “Bush’s fault” didn’t hurt Obama during the last election cycle.

His supporters will likely ignore any such efforts, leading to yet another fairly close vote count in 2012.

We can only hope that many who voted for him before, either switch or stay home. This is why he’s pressing hard for new voters, especially Hispanics.

You tell the people the truth. Simple. It is it’s own best defense.

If Obama appears ‘piled on’ then it’s only because he has done so much crap to have the truth bury him. People may not like the truth, but they hate liars.

There is a reason HE IS THE UNDERDOG! Don’t let a rat pundit dictate your way of thinking, last month the same rat who brings up “underdog” now was saying he was unbeatable!
THIS IS DUMBO’S ECONOMY!

Uh, Erika, Obama has gotten this country into a crisis level mess. Of course the Republican candidates are going to debate how they would work to get us out of it.

I agree.... This guy is evil and should be opposed. And what of the cheering crowds that Hitler had in Germany? We have only seen such a spectacle here with the Messiah.

Of course, I don't want to compare the Messiah with Hitler. Hitler wouldn't have needed a teleprompter to make his speeches. Also, Hitler had CIC ability (read Jonah Goldberg's, Liberal Fascism) while the Messiah has very little ability.

Wrong.

Romney, Newt or Perry are worse than what we have now because they deliver a lot of the same policies, but with conservatism getting the blame for the results.

Which is why to get elected they have to garner enough votes to win despite conservatives going third party or write in.

Here's an ad linked from another thread called Bump in the road

Obama's own words used against him. It's not a vicious attack ad. It's a "the president's out of touch" ad. It's a Romney ad but still very well done. Everyone has a part to play in getting Obama out of office and an ad like this helps any Republican running.

We’ll see how many of us are screaming “leave Mitt alone” when the media picks our candidate again like 2008 (you guys think the media being happy about this is a GOOD thing?? Wake up people...) Mitt RINO needs to be taken down.
