This is the most offensive interview I have ever witnessed. I cannot believe that MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell lectures Presidential Candidate Herman Cain about Civil Rights and then chastises Cain for not being a more active participant in the movement.
Herman handled himself very well although you can tell he is clearly aggitated by the accusations and idiocy of this buffoon.
Where is Al Sharpton on this? Jesse Jackson where are you hiding? Why isn't the NAACP standing up and screaming? I'll tell you why: Herman is a Republican.
This clown O'Donnell is a hack who thinks he is God's gift to the human race when in fact he is a cowardly, mean-spirited bully who hides behind his microphone and the 1st Amendment to bash good people in the name of "journalism". He is no more a journalist than my 17 year old Basset Hound Chester.
If anyone actually watched MSNBC, I would call for a boycott.

I watched because I wanted to see Cain put this Ahole in his place, and for the possibility of seeing Lawrence suffer his third complete meltdown on tv......1st against John O’Neil of the Swiftboaters and 2nd on the Morning Joe show.

Cain now knows to go ahead and exploit his story and compare it to Hussein Obama’s. (If he can find it)
If O’Donnell was hoping to hurt Cain, his plan backfired.
Cain handled him very well, made his points, controlled the interview, and made O’Donnell look like a jerk.
Moreover, the video and criticism of MSNBC is all over the web today. A terrific opportunity for more people to see Cain at his best at no cost to the campaign.
Cain should have asked O’Donnell if he took the same offense to Bill Clinton or if he just reserved that for black men.
There is no such thing on the face of this Earth.

Well you have to keep in mind that the mainstream media pushes the narrative that Republicans are against civil rights when it was actually the Republicans who passed the Civil Rights Act. & folks like Al Gore Sr. [ the father of the more notorious Al Gore Jr. of the recent era ] in fact tried to prevent it from getting passed.

What is amazing is that O’Donnell is applauded on the left, but Hank Williams Jr. is fired for calling the President Hitler. Williams comment was obviously rhetorical, where as O’Donnell’s comments were personal and direct attacks on the next man who could be President.
MSNBC is a spin-off of NBC news, which has long been known as the "news network" that fakes evidence, long before Dan Rather did it against Bush on CBS. NBC did it on a regular basis, as well as allowing their leftist politics to override everything else... The most interesting was when Dateline rigged the fuel tanks on GM pickup trucks to explode when they couldn't produce pickup trucks bursting into flames without assistance for their reports.
The most evil was when NBC news aired a report about "Cop Killer Bullets" which was aired even though nearly EVERY police association begged them not to run it, because before that episode, the wearing of body armor by police officers wasn't well known. Even notorious anti-gun congressman Mario Biaggi of NY was against the airing. The result was an uptick in the number of dead police officers, the majority having been shot in the head.
NBC news has had NO credibility in my memory, and I'm 48 years old.

O’Donnell and his liberal ilk can’t stand the idea of a REAL black man in the White House.
LOD didn’t even get it when Cain said he would be happy to come on his show anytime (to give him another verbal slapdown)
Most ridiculous question by LOD was when he asked Cain why didn’t he volunteer to go to Viet Nam, when at the time, Cain was working for the Navy as a Ballistics Mathematician.
Does LOD think for a minute that the Navy would allow a bright mind like Cain’s to leave such a position to go fight in the jungle?
Cain slapped him around and then thanked him for having him on for the purpose of making a fool out of LOD, and said he would be happy to come back anytime. (To give LOD another verbal smackdown)
At first, I was angered, but after I saw the way Cain handle himself and smack down LOD, I watched it again and enjoyed watching Cain and how well he did.
WOW! What a pompous racist pig Lawrence O’Donnell is! Wonder if he would ask a democratic candidate like Bill Clinton or Barack Obama those type of questions? Poor excuse for a journalist...great example of democratic media bias!
