Mitt Romney sympathizes with Wall Street protesters
The Los Angeles Times ^ | October 11, 2011 | Kim Geiger and Maeve Reston

Mitt Romney appeared to be softening to the Occupy Wall Street protests on Monday, taking a more sympathetic tone as he remarked on the movement, which he had called “dangerous” just a week before.

“I look at what’s happening on Wall Street and my view is, boy, I understand how those people feel,” he said at a town hall event in Hopkinton, N.H. “Because with median income down 10% ... with chronic unemployment, long-term unemployment worse even than the Great Depression, the people in this country are upset. And I understand middle Americans saying, ‘Wait a second, what’s going on? This wasn’t the deal. How can this be?’’

Gone was the rhetoric of last week, when he suggested the protesters were engaged in “class warfare.”

“As a matter of fact, I don’t worry about the top 1%,” Romney said in response to a question about how to close the wealth gap. “I don’t sit up nights worrying about do we need to help them. ... They are doing just fine by themselves.”(continued)

Has the entire country gone insane?

Romney is corporate central along with the rest of the money elite.

This is watching a really bad movie chained to the seat and unable to exit the theatre.

we are so screwed if this idiot gets power.
He will not overturn anything what zero has done and probably will allow cross dressers to cross dress in their uniforms.

He is supposed to be a business man, the man is deluded for sure.

If he goes after Romney on this point, it could be a home run or a strikeout.

Cain had the right sentiment when he went after the OWS crowd earlier, but he phrased it so poorly it sounded like he was hanging everyone having trouble finding work out to dry.

OWS is the exact opposite of the Tea Party.

Romney’s strategy seems to be “run to the middle” before the primary even starts.

He is not only wrong, he’s a fool, and so is the GOP establishment supporting him.

When you make yourself out to be not so different than, just a more “common sense” version of, just a less ideological version of your opponent (Obama) then how do you bring voters to you; by running as Obama lite?

It never works. The voter who votes always decides to go ahead and vote for the real deal than the pretender, and those who really hate both the pretender and the real deal just don’t vote.

Mitt is running already like this is the general election, and he must “move to the left”, when the primaries have not even started yet. By the general campaign, he will only have further to the left open, to try to “split the difference” with Obama.

So is the GOP elite trying to destroy the GOP or are they themselves suicidal?

The best way to “sympathize” with the “Occupy Wall Street” people is to acknowledge that their protests reflect the ignorance that comes from the horrible education they have received. Had they been given the education they deserved, they would be protesting in front of the White House over the stupidity of all the spending and debt Obama has added since he took office.

Why is this so unexpected? Rino Romney, the guy who believes he is going to become the "god" of his own planet was the archetect behind ROMNEYCARE and OBAMACARE:

Why wouldn't Romney "sympathize with Wall Street protesters"... Socialists, "Global Warming" fruit cakes and One Worlders STICK TOGETHER!

Besides, Romney wants them all to know that he is not one of those "EVIL", "RICH", Wall Street fat cats, he is just EVIL (Just do a search of what Mormonism believes and teaches... it is pure evil.) and RICH :o)
