You all swore that she quit in order to serve the country in a larger capacity. Many others saw by her post-quit activities that she quit in order to get rich.
History proves the latter group was right.

They are talking about Sarah less and less as well they should.
I think they are hurt and their being upset will go away if they would see that she might have wanted to run,but maybe her family and the constant hate toward her from the left is really hard to take over time.
I think it would help her if she would come out and endorse a candidate and not take a long time to do it. It would show she is not again teasing her followers. That might help, but I am just guessing. Then she could campaign for the person and stay in the policial scene more then she is by just writing columns and talk shows. LOL I have no idea, I am just thinking out loud. hahha

And exactly how is running for VP(and not getting elected) amount to “DC connection”? How many months did Sarah Palin spend in DC running the US government, let alone getting corrupted by influence peddlers and lobyists in DC? You tell us that.
In addition(and I will repeat), when did writing and selling a book about one’s life(Sarah Palin - legal and proper), become equivalent to using inside knowledge gathered from private Congressional hearings, to profit frrom stock trading, as your pal Nancy Pelosi did(illegal, corrupt and sleazy)?
Again , do you insane PDS sufferers know the difference between legal and illegal acts or the difference between right and wrong or not?

There are plenty who actually made millions after serving their voters and completing their terms in elected office, but, palin is unique in that she quit half-way through to chase her fortune.

Newt did make money as a lobbyist. Newt is definitely not a man of honor. I am not happy with him as the frontrunner.
I’m with you. Part of me hopes that she did plan to run when she made that Candidate Palin “thank you, Iowa” video. With the mama grizzly brand theme at the end? If she knew she wasn’t running then, that would really hurt me. And if she decided not to run at the last minute, what scared her off? I thought of her as a true patriot like the founding fathers. They didn’t put family before country, and where would we be now if they had? We needed her and she chose her family, the same reason people retiring from public service always use. She had the same family in June as she did in September. Why string us along?
I have waited in long lines as a body and as a car to hear Sarah speak. It was worth it. I was once a few feet from her podium and had to stand there for a couple hours and hear a bunch of shmucks speak first. She was the real deal to me, a “hero” tried by fire, brave, truthful. Exactly what I wanted in a leader.
Today if she were speaking a few miles away, and i could nab a good seat, honestly, just the act of finding a babysitter would put me off going. I am actually sad to think this out loud but it’s true. She has deeply disappointed me. I know I’d find a way to get to see Herman Cain.
Re fighting to get Sarah back: yes, I signed up. But why didn’t she run? Why does she need coaxing? I just don’t get it.

I completely agree. Your first point: why wasn’t she clear in June that her family and fear of attacks were more important than serving her country?
And I agree that her endorsement, to mean anything, would have to be well before Iowa. And if it’s Newt, I will have lost my estimation of her as a strong, Gd fearing patriot.
PDS sufferers like you, need to get serious medical help. Again in this country, it happens to be perfectly LEGAL and ethical and proper to write a book about one’s life. By contrast, it happens to be illegal , unethical , sleazy to use insider information to profit from insider trading on stocks like your pal Nancy Pelosi did. One act is LEGAL, the other isn’t( just go ask Martha Stewart).
That you are unable to discern any difference between a legal and legitimate means of making money,and an illegal way of acquiring money(Pelosi), demonstrates to any nd all, the acute and advanced stage of the anti Palin induced insanity that afflicts you. As other freepers have suggested, look at the timing.
The McGinniss book came out and she made her statement not to run right after it.
The palin camp made a lot of noise about suing over the book on the basis that it contains lies but they never followed through. If they were to sue then anything that is in the book that may not be a lie would be proven as true.
And, the fact is that nobody here knows what the truth is about the allegations. The palins are just people and people do things that they later regret.
