What you’re not understanding: your little list of practical challenges withers into nothing when compared with the magnitude of our nation’s problems.

The need for a capable problem solver—one whose methods are sudden and relentless—is great. Greater than words can describe.

What you aren’t understanding is your point is moot in this election because its not possible for anyone start running this late in the game. There may be a need, but there is not a way.

You would campaign FOR Palin if she ran third party?

Honestly? I can poke fun at this, but I would support her 100%.

I’d say she’s about to kick off another reality show or something...and you are dumb enough to fall for it.

What insight! When I want to know what's really happening I'll ping you first.

You consistently mock peoples' sincere enthusiasms.

That really sucks.

That’s weak. She said she’d never run third party. Really, you must pay attention if you think you’re zapping someone with cleverness. Tsk.

Ditto...Palin has my vote. I don’t give a damn what nay-sayers, unbelievers, PDS’rs, “I been used” group say Palin is our best and brightest hope.

There is nothing, no one out there but Palin who will excite, animate and lead the American people to cleaning up this government.

Some have called her opportunist, but she has already told us that her campaign is unconventional and she doesn’t play by the establishments rules.

I say bring it on Barracuda!!!!! Bite ‘em in the a$$!!!!

Technically, she’s correct. It’s only too late to make the ballot in a relatively small number of states, and many of them are bending or breaking RNC rules by having early primaries or in how they’re choosing delegates, which means that it may be possible to challenge their credentials at the convention.

Practically, it’s an exceptionally tall order, to the point of being not quite impossible, but close. To enter the race after Iowa means starting from behind, with a distinct disadvantage in funding and organization.

For the record, I did not enter this thread and express my thoughts on this topic.

there probably isn’t a way to win the nomination. But there is a way to win enough delegates to force it to the convention, where she’d have a much better shot.

Between Romney, Paul, the others, and her if she jumped in later on, no one may end up with 50% of the delegates.

I don’t see it being likely, though. The only way is if the current field other than Romney fades by the end of January. If Paul or Romney win IA, Romney wins NH, and Romney wins SC...I think the odds go up dramatically.

And, if she ran it might not even be about winning the nomination. It may be more about making a point against the establishment and laying the foundation for 2016.
