Wasn’t there a Freeper who predicted that she would be Newt’s running mate?

What kind of idiot would be floating names for a running mate without actually asking those individuals first?

C’mon — you know the answer! You’d have to be a card-carrying Moron. Like Mitt!

...the kind of idiot that is desperate for conservative votes. Martinez would probably consider VP with Newt. I would prefer Allen West.

Don't Cuban-Americans (the dominant Hispanic group in Florida) and Mexican-Americans see themselves as 'different'. That is, they care less about the 'Hispanic' label, but care more about the Nation prefix.
I grant you, its abominable that we should have ever let the social engineers (leftists) divide us into hyphenated Americans - in their attempt to divide and conquer and enslave this Nation - but given the hyphens exist, I'd think he'd be trying to pick up Cuban-American votes in Florida by going after Rubio, or someone (since its Romney, maybe he'd go after Desi Arnez).

I don’t know her politics yet, but in theory, a Catholic Pres, with a Catholic Hispanic women veep, with all the years that would follow (up to 16 years), would not only destroy the Democrat hold on the Catholic vote, the Catholic Hispanic vote, but over the time of their years as the Catholic and Hispanic faces in America, would drill home the connection between being Christian and rejecting the Democrat party.

Maybe the Pope would do a campaign spot for ‘em.

It seems to follow more of a regional than national, I have a Puerto Rican friend who only corrects you if you call her Cuban, but gets downright mad if you said she was Mexican.

Well the man we prefer for President is already Catholic.

In a neutral search for vice-presidential talent to serve his ticket, that selection could very well turn out to be Catholic also, it might even be Catholic and Hispanic, those are the odds today.

I haven’t studied any of their politics so I don’t have a horse in mind, I don’t even know if any of them are conservative enough and desirable enough to be a good choice for veep.

It looks like Rubio would not be the right choice judging by his coming out in this primary fight like this.

Said Rubio: “Mitt Romney is no Charlie Crist. Romney is a conservative. and he was one of the first national Republican leaders to endorse me. He came to Florida, campaigned hard for me, and made a real difference in my race.”

Christ on a Crutch!!

Apparently, English is not New Mexico Republican Governor Susana Martinez first language, as she has no intention rather than intentions of accepting the degenerate coward scumbag MYTH FLIP SLICK WILLARD ROMNEY'S singular offer.

Only in AMERIKA.
