Newt Gingrich Changes the Republican Party, or Not?

Newt Gingrich is the only Presidential Candidate now running who:

1.) Has a comprehensive platform that will rapidly release America's businesses from the crushing grip of a no-interest Fed, Nanny-State Regulations, and terminate endless obstacles to work projects in America.

2.) Will approve the Keystone Pipeline from Canada on his first day in office.

3.) Will ask Congress to stay in Session for 17 days before his Inauguration to pass legislation for him to sign on his first day in office.

4.) Fully understands how to work with a hostile Congress to achieve Conservative goals.

5.) Has a comprehensive plan to abolish, on his first day in office, 40 % of the despicable Obamanation including the Dodd-Frank Law.

These positions set Newt apart from two of the other three Candidates who stubbornly cling to the time-honored traditions of "The Bipartisan Cave-In" by the RINO Political Party. (Democrats NEVER cave-in, but they still call it Bipartisan.)

I enjoy reading about the furor caused by Newt rocking the boat. Newt offers a clear philosophical break to the leadership of the RINO Party, and thus has triggered the fear emotion of “fight or flight” among many faithful RINOs.

As usual, the “most electable” RINO will be chosen as the Party Nominee in Tampa, a failed and time-tested method of “playing not to lose,” just like the way losing teams do in football.

Nonetheless, Newt has defined a platform that the RINO Party must take some planks from to avoid going the way of the Whig Political Party.

Really there is no value in this discussion.

We need to deal with the primary and get him past Romney before it is time to play this imagine game.

‘CAP’ I like that, however, I prefer TEA.

I don’t see a 3rd party happening this election cycle. The way it looks now, the republicans will continue dying a slow death as they drive away their activist base in favor of lukewarm “moderates”. I guess the movers and shakers think that the “moderates” will walk precincts and stuff envelopes for them.

I, for one, will not “rally” to a Romney nomination. If I want abortion, I will vote Democrat.

If “- - - (Romney is unquestionably the weakest party front-runner in contemporary political history.) - - -” then what will he be forced to take from Newt’s Presidential Campaign should Willy get the Party Nomination?

Newt has a much stronger platform than Willy, and the Party will force the Nominee to accept their patchwork platform.

“What will be the effect of Newt Gingrich’s Presidential Campaign on the Republican Party in 2012?”

BTW, the point of this discussion is to show the lurkers that Newt can beat the socks off of Mittens.

FINE ARTICLE

Correction or addition to Alpha male sheepdog:

Newt's mother was a Daughtery from the Donnybrook Clan
His biological father was a Mac Phearson
His step/adopted father, Gingrich, was a career military man

Therefore: Newton Leroy Daughtery-MacPhearson Gingrich is a Gaelic Warrior

Are those war pipes we're a-hearin.

Newt: Brutal ad comparing Romney to Obama

This is obviously meant as a web ad as it runs over 2 minutes, but it’s brutal in it’s comparison of Obama and Romney on the issues:

What is “Brutal” about reporting quotes in this so-called “ - - - Brutal ad - - - ?”

BTW, guess that makes my tagline “brutal, brutal.”

Galen Institute: Romney simply isn’t credible on repealing ObamaCare

Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute says that for Romney to say that he will repeal Obamacare but then to also say that he loves RomneyCare, that it simply isn’t credible, especially given how similar RomneyCare is to ObamaCare. She backs up Santorum’s claim that there are 15 very close similarities between the two health care plans and even cites John McDonough as saying that ObamaCare is RomneyCare with three more zeros.

She also points out that the Congressional Research Office says that Romney can’t repeal the key components of ObamaCare with executive orders, as he’s been saying on the campaign trail. It must be repealed through Congress which means it will likely be a tough fight.

I highly recommend you watch this interview:

I agree.

My question remains: What is “BRUTAL” about quoting politicians in a comparative manner?

Looks like Newt is being flamed as “Brutal” by his critics for just reporting the facts of statements.

That’s the press trying to appear relevant...as some attempted to this evening during and after Newt’s press conference.
