MJ Lee gets an early look at Nikki Haley's memoir, in which the South Carolina governor relates the difference in the way Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney handled allegations of infidelity that surfaced against Haley:
She describes Palin in her memoir as someone with whom she enjoyed an instant rapport and an immediate kinship, as they talked about everything from their children and shoes to the hardships of being on the campaign trail.
She was very friendly and gregarious. She signed books and took pictures with people. There was not one thing about her that was high maintenance, Haley says.
When allegations from Folks first surfaced, Haley remembers having Palin in her corner after just one phone call a contrast to the way another supporter, Romney, had handled the news....

OK, why did Haley endorse Romney?
I will never understand why she endorsed Romney..she saw that Romney left her high and dry when those allegations came out about her, so why endorse a guy that she sees is a scum bag?
I have no beef with Nikki Haley, she can support whoever she wants, but when Sarah Palin was accused of being a murderer by the left wing media, Haley never came out and supported Palin, even though Palin endorsed her and campaigned for her
“Game Change” was only viewed by far left nuts, and even many far left nuts didn’t watch it. HBO gets what, 30 million subscribers, yet only 2.1 million people saw that garbage(and they mixed in the 2nd airing of the film) so basically, this garbage film’s ratings were in the toilet. Notice the media doesnt discuss the ratings LOL gee I wonder why
Haley made an endorsement mistake.
Sarah made an endorsement mistake.
Newt made an endorsement mistake.
Rick made an endorsement mistake.
Do we throw all of them out?
Of course not.
Same reason some women stay in abusive situations.
If, by that, do you mean her endorsement of Senator John McCain in 2010? Can you imagine what the press and the Democrats would have done if she hadn't endorsed the man who picked her out of 320 million individuals to be the potential vice president of the United States of America? People value loyalty, as they should.
Palin related to Nikki because of similar experiences with the press and because of loyalty toward someone she made friends with. Romney looks at people he meets from a political perspective—what can they do for me or how might they hurt me.
She was probably being practical, as opposed to supporting her preference.
Oftentimes endorsements reflect who the endorser considers the best option in a given situation.
What I do understand is that all of these people are under tremendous pressure from their party if they want a future.
It may not be what benefits them in the near future, but they are afraid to buck the system if they want any future. It is kind of crazy knowing this to hold them accountable for everything the other person does forever.
Just because a person endorses someone doesn’t mean they agree on all policy.
Fair enough?
Hey, I saw a television show where she gunned down a caribou, hacked it up and put the meat in her backpack.
But I'd still vote for her in a heartbeat.
Very true.
If you watch all of the women in politics make numerous mistakes & somehow they all get bailed out by these naive women & the "new castrata". That's why the rest of the world look at us as impotent.
“OK, why did Haley endorse Romney?”
For $36k.
I saw that episode too, it ROCKED! Point is, where was Nikki Haley when she was being called a murderer, no where to be found. Dont know why Haley would choose Romney after Romney turned his back on her
She should have told Romney she was having a “Mitt Romney Meeting” the next morning, and then told him to pound sand.
I was about to post that I have read that Romney buys his endorsements. I didn’t have an exact figure, though.
