I know that most liberals are going to attack Hovde just because he has a successful background in finance but the guy knows what he is talking about. And I think Thompson will be nothing more than another vote for the old guard of the GOP instead of the surging Tea Party.

Actually, I think that most liberals are glad Hovde is in the race. He can serve them well by culling a number of Conservative votes that would otherwise go to Mark Neumann—thus guaranteeing Tommie Thompson the nomination. Vote for Neumann. If Neumann doesn’t get more votes than Thompson, Thompson will be the nominee. And we certainly don’t need another CINO in the Senate supporting Mitch McConnell.

Handsome. Intelligent. Successful. Articulate. Wealthy.

I HATE that in a man, LOL! ;)

He was on with Vicki a few days back. He impressed me. Not sure I’ll actually VOTE for him, but he impressed me.

(Gawd! Can we just get through this never-ending recall crap and get ON with our lives?)

I had breakfast with him last Sunday (our County Party’s Lincoln Day Brunch.) He sat at my table, and I found him to be very serious. Charming in his own way. Im voting for him, unless Fitzgerald can show me that he can raise the needed funds. Hovde is spending his own money which is important because everybody’s money is going to Walker this cycle, thanks to the mutant, ninja, unionista teacher freaks!

Frank Lasee (my previous fave — also handsome, intelligent, successful, articulate, but not so wealthy) endorsed Hovde yesterday, so I feel like I’m in good company. Lasee was a candidate for US Senate until he pulled out a couple of months ago.
