Other people really took Martin Luther King (noted Republican) at his word and tried to build a color-blind society in which people are judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. The Democrats hate us for doing that.

The democrats don't hate the people trying to build a race blind society. They are laughing at them. With a few well directed entitlement programs they have erased a century of post Civil war racism with a few decades of hand outs.

GWB only helped them by dropping low wage earners off the federal tax rolls. As long as we have this high of a percentage of citizens that see the government as a provider this country faces ruin.
