The Dallas Morning News announced this afternoon that they are endorsing candidate Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election.
In an editorial piece, the newspaper calls Romney a "principled, pragmatic leader" and that the former Massachusetts governor as a man who has "shown an ability to lead" and "can get Washington working again."
The article went on to chastise Obama for being "less leader than follower" with his inability to address the escalating national debt and continually blaming George W. Bush for "the mess he left behind."(continued)

Well it's a start. That's one down and about 13,000 to go.
I’m sure the newspapers in Houston, San Antonio and Austin will be issuing their endorsements shortly. /s
They’ve read the handwriting on the wall. For all the bluster, the powers-that-be know who will win in November.
I am surprised about the Dallas Morning News. When we lived there my husband stopped our taking the paper even on the weekends, which we had done for years. He said he didn’t even want it in the house since it was so biased. I had to have a friend save the crosswords for me. LOL Sadly I think the Star Telegram is worse.
NO doubt the Editor of that newspaper has some grandchildren and is concerned, no, WORRIED about what kind of bleak future they will have after four more years of Obobo's reign of terror.
Color me surprised...really!!
Good for them!

Wow, excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor.
Don’t know about you guys, but here in the north metro area of Atlanta it is absolutely astonishing that I have not seen ANY Obama Biden 2012 signs or stickers to date.
Perhaps nobody is foolish enough to advertise themselves as being for 4 more years of misery...
Good to see the Dallas Morning News put on the right hat for once.
It almost makes me want to buy a paper.
I am stuned. This is hugh and series!
That’s the whole point. They understand that the conservatives keep themselves better informed and are the more productive in society which means they generally are more likely to buy newspapers which are going the way of the dinosaur in today’s online society. When we take a stand on constitutional issues or get upset at new legislation it’s because we are more enlightened and experienced, understanding the true motives behind it, not trusting everything we hear or see unlike wishy washy liberals whose opinions and votes can be bought with the promise of an Obamaphone, amnesty, or food stamps.
