They should make Ohio vote in August and keep the results sealed until election day for the rest of the country. I’m so tired of hearing about Ohio Independents. Independent simply means they are open to bribes from either side.

Here’s hoping OblahMao gets a landslided loss of earthquake proportions. Let the Lame Streams eat dirt all night on Nov 6th.

It must make Ohio feel very proud of themselves to know they have the ability to destroy or save the United States.

They must truly love that all the other states can be held hostage to the fragile whims of Ohio voters, truly amazing, and truly disgusting.

Get over yourself Ohio, you ain't that damned important. In fact, I never ever think of you in my daily life, and you are not a place I tend to take a vacation in.

I thought Zogby had given it up. I don’t remember seeing any polls from him this cycle. Did I miss?

For starters, Ohio does not have registration by political party. People will identify themselves as Democrats or Republicans but most voters in Ohio are independents.”

The first part is misleading and I don't know about the stats for the second. Although you don't register by party, your party affiliation is declared when you request one party's ballot in a primary. If you are neither you will get an issues only ballot in that primary. If you just blow off the primary every year and only vote in the general election you will be an independent by default. There used to be (and may still be) a requirement that if you wanted to change your party affiliation you had to sign an affidavit that you really did vote for your new party, but there is no way to check that and it is almost impossible to challenge it unless an election judge has personal knowledge that you are lying, like if you are a Democratic party official voting as a Republican to spoil a primary choice.

Romney can win other States like WI and not have to have Ohio.

It was always assumed that since WI was a Blue State that it wasn't in play, but I believe it is, as well as some other Blue States.

We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the 2nd debate. It can’t get much worse I don’t think for the Democrats. They don ‘t have any real good ideas, now do they.

Thanks, I am just sick and tired of these Pohick little nothing states can hold the rest of the country hostage with their grandiose self importance.

They are loving this, brings big $$$$campaign$$$$ into the state, I know the game, but just the same it makes me sick.

Ohio and others you are just not that important, get over yourselves. Maybe it's time to just IGNORE them until they realign their attitude.

Believe me, It is not. i hate that I live in a swing state. The only thing worse would be to live in a solid blue state.

The stupidity on display is intolerable. The dozen phone calls from pollsters, GOTV people, BOTH DEM AND REPUB, My wife is still a registered Democrat from Operation Chaos, the endless ROBO calls from all the politicians. It never ends. The damn urban Dem Dummy's, including my neighbors, drive me nuts.

Too many union members, too many auto plants, too many steel mills, too many damn government workers all add up to close elections here in the Buckeye State.

WI doesn't have near the electoral votes that Ohio has. Ohio has 18, WI has only ten. In order to make up for OH he would have to win PA with 20, but if he wins PA, he wins OH already.

Ohio must go to Romney, I believe it will and comfortably by at least 250,000 votes.

Remember more than 200,000 voters where purged from Cuyahoga County. O’Bumbler won Cuyahoga County by almost 250,000 votes.

I was only using that as an example, there are also a couple of other States that could make up the number of EV's, along with WI, like MI and Iowa.

I also think he is going to win Ohio and it won't be close.

All of these polls are using 2008 as their model and it isn't going to be anything like 2008.

The last two debates showed who exactly is in the WH and the American People are going to make a change in 2012.

Remember the WI recall polls being close and then it turning into an easy win for the GOP.

The difference was a massive get out the vote effort which was not factored in the polls.

The ground game is going to win this election and the motivation isn't there for the Democrats.

Romney may pick up some other States, but I frankly don’t think Ohio is going to be close, it usually votes GOP and I don’t see any reason why it won’t this time as well.
