A similar technique is used extensively by an organization known as "Democrats Abroad."
Their operating game is to 'sponsor' Happy Hours at bars for U.S.A. expats to conduct "Voting Awareness & Registration" for those overseas.
The reality is they give out free beer, register and help people fill-out absentee ballots for the Demo candidate.
I have been to several of these in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taipei. I reported these activities to the Federal Election Committee in 2004, 2008 and in 2012.
Absolutely zip..nada..nothing was done.
This organized fraud activity happens all over the world by this group. Every election cycle.
And yes. There is a group named "Republicans Abroad." They are as useful as teats on a boar hog.
Is this in Troy, NY? “Upstate NY” doesn’t do much for me, and that’s the only reference I saw to a specific city.
